They woke up late the next morning tk the sound of talking and the smell of food. Dream was stood near a fire with Phil talking.

Wilbur was the first one to actually go and ask what they were talking about.

"What are you talking about" wilbur asked sitting down near them. Dream turned to him and gave him what he could guess was a smile.

"We are thinking about our next move, it would be to dangerous to act out at the minute, then with these mutants that bring up a new problem." Phil said his wings flapping a little.

"Well, first, Id recommend finding a safe place closer to the rip, when the time comes we reopen and get out. However the best hidden area there is still full of mutants." Dream said summing up the chat.

"Well, we could send scout group out to find check how it is" wilbur said.

"We aren't in a rush as I can already tell you it'll take around a year before it's weak enough the rip open" dream sighed. 

"How about we train for the year and you teach us some of that magic" a new voice belonging to a tall blonde said.

"Ahh jeez Tommy." Wilbur said as the teen stood right behind him. Dream chuckled at the reaction.

"Its a good thought Tommy." Phil said moving up so he could join.

"Food will again be easily a weak point in hiding for a year, we can't live off bread and stuff like that, we will need protein." Dream pointed out.

The four continued talking while the others began to motivate and slowly join them.

However one didn't, techno had stayed away. Dream saw this and walked up to him.

"What's the matter bacon" the green man said. Techno looked at dream, his face dropped. His noise was bloody, the red liquid was running down his face.

"Holy shit, why didn't you tell us." Dream said running to grab some towels kr anything that he could.

"PHIL I NEED YOU IN HERE NOW" dream yelled and on queue Phil ran in.

"Right Phil there's a chest over there under the plank floor, it should have a wired green potion in, grab it fir me" dream said holding techno head back with the towel under his noise to reduce the blood.

Phil did as asked and as dream said there was a green potion there.

"What is it"  he asked handing it to dream. Dream motioned for Phil to take over while he grabbed something else.

"Its a sort of cure, it'll make sure the techno doesn't turn instead he'll be like us, human mind beast body" dream said walking over with a knee-length in hand.

"How, how did you get it" Phil said confused.

"I made it." He said grabbing techno arms and injecting him.

"It'll take a week to work so for now you need rest" dream said, as techno fell asleep.

"Is that a normal reaction" Phil asked. Dream shrugged.

"I.. don't know honestly it was the only one that's worked." Dream admitted.

"We can only hope."

The rest of the day no one saw dream, he had disappeared. Well minus wilbur who while exploring the base had found him in a hidden room.

"What's wrong" wilbur asked.

"Just worried" dream said.

"Why"

"The 'cure' might have weired side affects on non human, techno a piglin so I'm not sure how he'll react with it, if he dies it'll be my fault."

Wilbur hugged dream tightly.

"You've done all you can, you need rest and to stop taking everything on yourself you'll hurt yourselfif you do." Wilbur said.

"There are people who love and care about you, if you continue the way you are, then you'll loose everything." Wilbur finished.  Dream was speechless, he hadn't realised that he was crying.

"I .... I understand" dream whispered.

Dream ended up telling wilbur everything, telling him how he was scared, stressed and worried. How he was scared that if he was to mess up everything would fall apart around him again. Just like it had before.
