"I got in!!!"
Those were the first words out of Chaeyoung's mouth when Lisa opened the door to her apartment to see her girlfriend standing there. "That's great babe...umm what did you get into again?"
"The summer art program that Mr.Lee told me about." Chaeyoung's smile fell a little bit realizing Lisa had no idea what she was talking about. "You don't know what I'm talking about, do you?"
"No I do, my head has been all over the place the past couple of weeks you know that. I'm so happy for you baby, get in here." Lisa pulled Chaeyoung inside and sat them both down on the couch. "When does it start?"
"I leave in three weeks, so I have to get all my flight details together and..."
"Wait. What do you mean leave? Isn't it in Seoul?" Lisa was extremely confused because she could've sworn this program was local.
"No Lis, I thought I told you it's back in Melbourne."
"Melbourne? As in fucking Australia?! What the fuck Chaeyoung?" Lisa got up from the couch to stand in front of Chaeyoung. "Calm down Lisa. I told you where the program was, it's not my fault you barely listen when I talk."
"You know that's not true. I always listen to you and if you would've mention that this shit was in Melbourne I wouldn't have been all for it."
"All for it? Seriously Lisa, are you trying to tell me I can't go?" Chaeyoung crossed her arms over her chest and scowled at Lisa. "I'm not saying you can't go, I'm saying you shouldn't."
"I shouldn't go?" Lisa shook her head. "Why the hell not? Everyone that does this program is almost guaranteed a full ride to any art school of their choice."
"I'm sure there are other great programs and internships for you here in Seoul." Lisa tried holding Chaeyoung's hand but she moved away from her. "I honestly can't believe you right now. It's for three months not three years."
"Three months? What about me, Chaeyoung? What the fuck am I supposed to do for three months while you're gone?"
"How can you be so selfish?" Chaeyoung got up from the couch and stormed out of Lisa apartment. Lisa chased after her and stopped Chaeyoung before she could make it to the elevator. "Babe just wait a minute."
"Just stop Lisa. You know I as soon as I found out you were the first person I wanted to tell so I rushed over here and this is the reaction I get. Do you really only care about yourself?"
"No baby, you know how much I care about you. You're just the only constant in my life in a really long time and I don't want to lose you." Lisa held Chaeyoung close to her not wanting to let her go. "You're not gonna lose me."
"How can you be so sure?" Chaeyoung didn't answer instead she removed herself from Lisa and got in the elevator, wiping her tears before they could completely fall.

Lisa waited a whole day before finally going over to Chaeyoung's but realized it was going to be a lot harder than she thought when Mason Park opened the door. "No, no, no!"
"Mr. Park I really need to speak with Chaeyoung and explain myself..."
"Explain yourself?! How about you explain to me why my daughter came home from your apartment last night crying? Why she refused to eat dinner and cried herself to sleep. I really do like you Lisa, you've got a good head on your shoulders but if you can't make my daughter happy then it's time for you to move on." Mason then shut the door in Lisa's face.
Lisa stepped down off the porch then snuck around the side of the house where Chaeyoung's room was located. "Please be open." Lisa started to climb up the drainpipe connected to the house, once she made it to Chaeyoung's she looked in seeing the room was empty but luckily the window was unlocked. She opened the window then climbed inside before turning around to close it.

Before Her (Chaelisa)
FanficThis is a prequel to my first book The Babysitter. This book will focus on Lisa and Chaeyoung's relationship during high school, college, and before Jennie. If you haven't read the first book that's ok, you don't really need to but I suggest you do.
