The Amazing Spider-Woman (Toh/lumity)

Chapter1: Normal Day

The day started like any other. Luz groggily opened her eyes and got ready for school. Before leaving her house, she gave her mom (Eda) a kiss on the cheek.

The young girl slowly walked to school, taking in the scenery of the massive city that surrounded her. Suddenly, an out of breath Amity ran up to Luz. Amity slowly walked beside Luz as she caught her breath. After a few minutes, Amity looked up to Luz and wiped some sweat off her forehead.
"Oh hi Luz, funny seeing you here." Amity said, trying (and failing) to act surprised.
"You've been walking beside me for the past two minutes." Luz giggled.
'So oblivious.' Amity thought to herself, smiling like an idiot. "Well, since we seem to have started, we should probably continue walking together." Amity said with a smile and a light blush. After a moment of silence, Luz spoke up.
"You know. Every day, me and you somehow end up walking together." Luz began. "At this point, you might as well come and pick me up from my house." Luz said "jokingly".
"Really!?" Amity asked, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Yeah, sure. Tomorrow we'll walk to school together, on purpose!" Luz explained excitedly."Maybe we could even officially become frie-" Luz cut herself off. 'No, Luz! Don't be stupid the last time you had a "friend" it ended horribly.' Luz reminds herself.

Luz and Amity continued to walk to school together, talking all the while. When they made it to the gates of Hexside, they went their separate ways. Amity walked towards her locker, having stuff thrown at her and being called many different names.

Amity's parents had decided that if Amity was known as a Blight, people would have distracted her from her studies because of the popularity of the family. So they made sure no one knew her real name. The downside was that she was the weird kid, and almost no one in her school respects her or her property. So safe to say from the random shit thrown at her and the countless names, she was thoroughly distracted.

She walked towards her locker only to see three girls from the rugby team vandalising it. They mostly drew a bunch of small dicks. "Hey, c-could you stop-" the three teens turned to face Amity. "D-drawing self-portraits on m-my locker?" Amity meant for it to sound cool and intimidating, but it came out as weak and timid. Her legs shook as the bully's stared at her.
"And what are you gonna do!?" Boscha (the leader of the group) asked as she stepped towards Amity.
"I-I-" Amity was cut off by an announcement on the speaker.
"Can captain Boscha please report the principles office immediately." Spoke a woman's voice through the loud speaker.
"You're lucky you get off easy this time retard!" Boscha chuckled, pushing pat Amity, her gang not far behind.

Amity let out a sigh of relief as she opened her newly vandalised locker. She started grabbing her books out, but soon the bell rang, and everyone ran through the halls, pushing her away from her still opened locker. 'I guess I'll have to pick the rest up later.' Amity thought to herself while trying to maintain her balance.

Time Skip:

It was lunchtime, and Amity once again sat alone. Everyone had a group they fit into, the nerds, the jocks, the theatre kids, the popular kids, and then there was Amity, all alone. Amity thought this day would continue to go like any other, but then, Luz Noceda (huge nerd and the biggest crush Amity's ever had) happily skipped towards the lonely Blight.

Luz set her lunch tray down next to Amity's and offered a sweet smile.
"Hey, Amity!" Luz explained excitedly. "I thought that now that we're becoming frie- now that we're getting to know each other better, we could sit together at lunch." Luz finished sitting down next to her. Amity sat there speechless, her crush Luz Noceda wanted to spend her lunch with Amity, the weirdo not even the nerds would except (no offence).

Luz noticed Amity's stunned silence and thought she did something wrong. "Oh- sorry. I th-thought that - never mind." Luz stuttered as she slowly stood up.
"No!" Amity said quickly, yanking Luz back into the seat beside her. "I-I was just shocked is all. Please don't leave." Amity sounded more desperate than she wanted to, but it was too late to take it back.
"O-ok." Luz squeaked out.
