It was laughable really, the measures that were placed against Deku the minute he passed through UA's doors.
Apparently, the Hero Commission was wary of Midoriya's former associations to the League of Villains, and deemed it necessary to install some precautions around Midoriya, much to Nezu's distain, ignoring the fact that they had no right to control HIS school.
Deku could see various armed guards glare at him as they ran him through metal detectors, drug tests, and security devices that could rival a country's airport TSA after a terrorist attack.
But when one of the Commission's goons stepped forward, snapping on plastic gloves, and reached to pat Midoriya down, Aizawa had had enough.
"This is absolutely ridiculous! We've been here for an hour and a half, waiting for you to finish these useless inspections. If Midoriya really has snuck something in he's earned the right to keep it at this point."
Glowering at Aizawa, the goon turned to the teacher.
"Sir, I know this seems a bit excessive to you, considering your status with the commission, but we have to take necessary precautions against any villains entering UA. There is fragile information that could be destructive if any villain got their hands on it" He turned toward Deku "No matter how reformed they claim they are. Now, if you keep disrupting my work, I will be forced to ask you to step out."
Deku had backed into the corner of the room, a iron band wrapped around his throat, heartbeat pounding in his ears. Just the thought of those hands on him, surgically invasive, feeling the most vulnerable parts of him, made his stomach fill with dread and his eyes prickle with the telltale sign of tears.
Enraged, Hizashi shot up, tension racking his frame.
"You have NO right to speak to my husband and that boy like that. This is not YOUR school, nor do you have ANY POWER here. I can get Nezu in here in 45 seconds and have your job stripped from you in less than 3 minutes. You get your hands OFF THAT BOY or we will be having problems."
Hizashi's quirk activated voice ricocheted off the walls, stunned silence bouncing around the room.
Breathing out a harsh puff of breath, Hizashi grasped Aizawa's hand and gestured towards the door. "Come on Midoriya. We've wasted enough time here." Ignoring the guard's stuttering exclamations, the three of them walked out of the door and headed to Aizawa's classroom. Muttering under his breath, Hizashi cursed the guard under his breath as he walked.
"The gall of that man. Can you imagine? Insulting not just 1 licensed hero, but 2! And threating us in our own school."
Aizawa ran a hand down his face, seemingly stunned, and put a hand on Hizashi's shoulder. "You can rant about that man to Nezu later, go ahead onto your class, Midoriya will join you after lunch."
Hizashi nodded, distracted, placing a quick peck on Aizawa's cheek and patted Midoriya's shoulder, before heading farther down the hall.
Taking a deep breath, Aizawa rubbed the bridge of his nosed and looked down at Deku.
"Well Midoriya, I guess we'd better get to class" He paused to open the door and stepped aside. "After you"
Deku stepped through the threshold of the door, and let his gaze wander around the room and its inhabitants before landing on someone eerily familiar.
