Beware of the Wolf

Up in the sky over the clouds while the sun is bright, the boat-like airship lands

"At last we have finally arrived in Ritsu." said Arthur, as he spins the edge of the glass cup in circles while resting his head.

Just as he gazes at the cup viciously, the past suddenly appears rewinding 6 months ago. In an apartment where Arthur plays a game of darts in his study room with his pet black cat, Nigel beside him licking its paw on the chair.

"Meow."

"Nigel dear, hungry I see." His eyes left eye shuts while his right eye is half opened staring at the board aiming in the right direction. "Fear not my little feline, daddy will grab you some fish to eat."

As soon as the dart in his hand takes off and sticks to the middle point, he picks up his phone while gazing at the board. "Arthur Von Beaumont, speaking."

"Is this Mr Arthur Von Beaumont?"

"Yes. I am indeed Arthur Von Beaumont." As he sits down while smoothing Nigels fur on his lap.

"It appears I'm correct. I'm the Head of the police department, Ichiro Yamada, in Ritsu, Japan." As he listens to the voice on the phone in his ears, Nigel instantly stands up in his lap and jumps off. "I heard that you're the best detective in Francis who can capture a criminal within a second."

"Indeed I am. How may I be at your service?"

"You see, here in Ritsu, our police departments have been trying to capture some who are said to be mythical beings with supernatural-like abilities". He all of a sudden lean closer to the ground after hearing those words come out of his mouth, "and I figured that you could take on the job since none of our men have ever succeeded"

"Oh really, mythical beings you say?"

"Yes sir, it appears that they can wipe people's minds of their existence within a minute."

"I'll be there before you know it." He smiled wickedly as he standed up and ended the phone. "It seems like we've got some hunting to do."

Back to the present with the Red Armed Agency, Chiaki is arranging a pile of papers on the desk when he all of a sudden hears Asami mention something about Hayate. "What, you mean Hayate is skipping school today?"

"He's actually done this quite a few times due to his own selfish reasons." She fake smiles at him knowing he'll get punished by the president once he's found. "But it's not like he's trying to run away or something."

"I can see that." As his eyebrow twitches while fake smiling back with his eyes closed.

"I know that you're kinda busy right now but could you go and find him in my stead." She asked in a sweet begging manner while tilting her pen. "As you can see I normally do it but today I have tons of work to do."

"But I only know half of the city's map, the rest I just use the map on my phone," He replied.

"Which is why I suggest you go look for him instead Chiaki." Just as the president comes out of his office while folding his arms.

"President." Chiaki's expression changed and instantly saluted as soon as the pile of paper fell down.

"It's fine, you can relax." said Yoshio, this time he was less strict with him due to his current state of being in a good mood.

"I forgot to tell you that your performance with our last battle towards the Black Wings was impressive. "As he patted his shoulders while slightly smiling. "Keep this up and I'll maybe allow you to become one of our primary agents."

Out of excitement, he kept on bowing to the president nonstop. "Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!"

"Oh and one more thing Chiaki." He turned around and started walking but then he suddenly stopped for a few seconds. "You might find him at the convenience store near Koyoku shrine."
