My eyes fluttered open and I sat up put my hand in my face,started to groan in pain.

I looked around there were yellow golden balls and trees around them making them glow.

I looked around more only to be face to face to Luz.

"You're pretty" Luz complimented you.

I realized that I didn't had my mask on. I put a hand on my face to make sure and it was really true I didn't had my mask.

I was to scared to say anything but I notice she had Hunter's staff.

But I didn't know where was mine and the two of you heard something and we quickly ducked before someone saw us.

I peeked through to see what it was and I saw Kikimora and some scouts.

I knew Kikimora and she was the most annoying witch in the emperor coven.

I saw my staff and Hunter's mask on Kikimora's hand.

I got up but Luz quickly pull me back down.

"Why did you that?!" I whispered yelled.

"So that nobody could see you" Luz smiled innocently.

We turn back around only to see the same monster return in front of Kikimora she cooed in a soft yet sweet voice. "Excellent work my pet."

Luz gasped quietly but I quickly covered her mouth so nobody could hear her.

Kikimora held up my staff and Hunter's mask to the monster.

"Now find the rest of those two and have yourself a nice little snack ..." Kikimora said softly.

The monster ate your staff and Hunter's mask.

"Noo" I said whispering.

The staff... I had that ever since I came to the Emperors coven and now it was gone.

Luz turn around to find Hunter seconds later the red cardinal showed up in her shoulder and chriped at her she took a glanced at me and Hunter before smiling.

"Don't worry I won't leave them." She said to the red cardinal before getting up. The two of us heard a groan and Luz grabbed Hunter's staff more firmly and walked to where that groan was I followed behind her.

We both saw Hunter laying down.

He actually looks cute

"This is the golden guard?" Luz asked.

"Yep" I told her.

Luz went near him.

"It looks like you two could be students at hexside." Luz muttered.

"Huh" I have never thought about that. Well I have heard of hexside obviously but I have never though about going there.

Luz started to get near Hunter that made me a bit angry.

Before I was about to say something I saw something that I didn't expected.

"WAKE UP!" She slapped Hunter right across the face.

Hunter woke up quick and I couldn't help but smile at the reaction of his face.

"Wha- YOU!!!" Hunter said loud that Luz had to cover his mouth.

"SHHH listen you two are bad people and I do not like either of you" Luz said aggressively.
