Me and Luz were drawing two glyph on the wall.
Hunter came back up holding a sack full of sleeping plants.

Hunter stood next to me Luz was on the other side finishing her drawing.

"Huh. I've never seen magic like this." Hunter said concern.

"What will it do?" Hunter asked.

Luz smiled happily "well, we don't want to spook kikimora steam because it might drop the nest and hurt the palisman." Luz explained before continuing on.

"So... using these fire and ice spells I can combine the glyphs to produce a thick mist." Luz said happily.

"And the sleeping nettles?" Hunter ask taking the sleeping nettles out of the sack and giving it to Luz.

"They are essential." Luz crouched down and explained. "Combine with the magic mist it will create." Luz was about to finish before Hunter interrupted.

"A sleeping-inducing forcing kikimora to land." Hunter finished for Luz.

Me and Luz looked at each other before looking at Hunter.

Hunter noticed that we were looking at him.
"Oh, um I-I read a similar spell in the book from bones to earth." Hunter explained shyly.

"Oh yeah I read that to." I said happily it's nice that me and Hunter have something in common.

"Really?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah!"

Luz leaned in "a study of wild magic!" Luz said excitedly before continuing on.

"Eda once pickpocketed a guy who wrote it." Luz said.

"I've never seen glyphs before...but it seems very similar to the elemental magic practiced in the savage ages." Hunter said explaining.

I couldn't help but smile at the though he was really a nerd but I love the fact that he is. Hunter loves learning about the boiling isles.

"Really?" Luz asked.

"Actually, not many people know this but..." Hunter looked at the both of us remembering something.

"No,no,no,no" Hunter said to himself.
"The stuff is restricted for a reason you should forget about it before you're hurt." Hunter said crossing his arms.

Oh right I frown I knew that Belos didn't like the idea of me or Hunter learning about wild magic I didn't like it but I had no choice.

"Uh-huh other than Lilith I've never spoken to someone inside the emperor's coven...."Luz said.

Luz looked at me and then Hunter "What made you guys want to join?" Hunter leaned against the wall and I sat next to him.

"Y/n doesn't want to share so I'll go. Hunter sighed and explained "You were right before... I'm a powerless witch a lot of my ancestors were." Hunter looked at Luz and then continued "I never thought I'd have a future in a world like this."

Hunter fidget with his hand. "Until belos found me... and gave me a staff with artificial magic. Said the titans had big plans for me..."

"At least you have your future figured out now." Luz said sadly and she looked away.

"At least you can figure out on your own." Hunter said.

Luz looked at him surprised. A little red cardinal flew into Hunter's arm that made him startled.

Hunter panicked "Hey!" He moved his arm the red cardinal flew down on the ground and pecked his foot.

Luz smiled putting her hands up to her mouth.
