"Dragons." Harry announced as he plopped himself in front of Blair and Terry in the library. He was alone which was odd, but Blair knew that Ron had thought Harry had actually put his name in the Goblet and didn't tell him.
"Excuse me?" Blair questioned as she looked up at him from her book she was looking through. She was still in the process of reading up on past competitions.
"The first competition. Dragons. Saw them just now in the woods with Hagrid." Harry explained, looking to his sister for some guidance. But Terry drew his attention with a giddy squeak.
"Dragons? Okay, this is my moment!! So what do you think you'll need to do? Fight them? Steal from them? Maybe nurse one back to health?" Terry listed off. Blair elbowed him to shut him up.
"He'll probably have to fight one, not nurse one to health. Why the hell would it be something like that?" Blair questioned with a roll of her eyes before pulling her wand out to bring books from the shelves. Harry watched with wide eyes. "What? You didn't expect me to get up and search for things like a muggle would, did you?" She questioned.
"I- well no, I suppose not." Harry nodded before ducking his head as a book flew over his head before smashing to the desk in front of him.
"Do you know what dragon you'd be up against? Maybe a Common Welsh? Romanian Long horn? Chinese Fireball-"
"I-I don't know, there were four of them. One was being a right terror, had a bunch of tamers on it." Harry interrupted with a shake of his head.
"A terror? Maybe the Hungarian Horntail. That is a dragon not to mess with." Terry explained as he pulled open a book and flipped it onto a page about said dragon. "Is that the one?" Harry glanced at it, nodding his head.
"Yeah, that's- you don't think I'll have to fight that one, do you?" He questioned. Blair stared at the dragon before grabbing Harry's hand. Her instincts were tingling. (Peter tingle lol)
"I think there's more to it than fighting."
"So I have to do something with a dragon without being burnt to a crisp, great! So how do I keep from becoming a barbecue? It's not like one guy can take on a dragon alone!" Harry snapped as he pushed the book away from him, Blair's hand tightening around his.
"You're not alone, Harry. The moment we all found you, you hadn't been alone." She told him in a calm tone. Her dark eyes held the hope that Harry desperately needed.
"You weren't even alone before we found you." Terry spoke up, causing Harry to glance to him. Blair smiled.
"He's right. You had Hermione and Ron before us. I heard you had the Weasley family treating you as their own." Blair reminded him. "Nothing will make me stop being here for you- so if you get yourself into trouble while facing a dragon then I'll just jump in and help."
"I doubt they would let you-" Harry started before pausing at the stern look in Blair's eyes. He didn't doubt for a moment that she was beyond stopping. "Okay- Well let's figure out a way to not get you involved then. How do I beat a dragon?"
