Blair hadn't gotten the chance to see Harry since the first task. After it was over he got to celebrate with his house. Terry had gone with her to celebrate- or watch the celebrations- of Fleur's big win.
The next day was when she had gotten the chance to see Harry. He was sitting in the Great Hall with the rest of Gryffindor, smiling and acting all big.
"Have you already solved the egg?" Blair questioned the moment she reached him, sitting down directly across from him and next to the twins. Terry was still up sleeping the day away.
"No? I just got it yesterday." Harry said in a slightly confused tone.
"And what? You're celebrating still? You almost got roasted by a dragon...and that was only the First task! The next one is bound to be worse!"
"Leave the boy alone, Legs!" Fred cheered, nudging the girl slightly as George wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"Yeah! Let him celebrate!! You saw how he outsmarted the dragon." Blair shrugged George off of her before glaring at the two separately.
"Ah, yes. Celebrate. Take the time you need then." Blair muttered in sarcasm before standing up suddenly. "Maybe Viktor will accept my help. Or maybe Fleur. They actually understand the risks of this competition."
"It's not like I signed up for this." Harry snapped, his grin dropping into a frown. "I didn't ask for this at all."
"No you didn't. But that should mean you'd want to get it over with as quickly as possible then. Not strut around until the very last minute." Blair glared at her brother before turning and leaving the table.
"The egg is definitely something." Blair said as she turned it over in her hands. She was sat in the library with Viktor Krum. He had been almost too happy to accept any help, knowing she would be more helpful than his classmates.
"Do you vink it 'as ta do wit the school?" He questioned as he watched her trace the lines on it.
"It has to, right? The lines are harsh, but they look like the castle..." She looked to the top. "The trees are the forbidden forest...and this could be the owlery? Maybe?" Blair seemed confused as she moved the egg around more.
