CHAPTER 15 - LIKE A STAR ON THE EARTH

The following morning Felix was lying on the sofa in the living room. He had taken a liking to stay in the open rather than closed in the confinement of his room. He was still feeling under the weather, his skin color is not pink anymore, but he now looked very pale and had a dark circle under his eye and looked extremely exhausted however far less in pain.

He was alone in the living room, watching TV, the sound of anime fight fill in the background. he wanted some time to himself away from reality of dealing with people, humans in general, sad eyes, overprotective member and overprotective boyfriend just for a while to feel the normalcy in his life just for few hours, he knew he was being childish and nauseous to the others but he just felt so vexed with the constant eye on him, he wanted to go out and stroll on the street and just vent his own frustration out in gym but he obviously can't . Everyone was making him feel like a child and not like Felix, an adult. He loves his members he really does but arrhhh they all are just so damn cautious of his health all the time, it gets on his nerves so damn much so and it was something he continuously had to deal with until he finally snapped and asked for some alone time. Everyone respected his wish and did maintain their distance but only on a condition with someone being around in the next room near him so that he could call for help if he needed and not risk the stunt he pulled that morning, with an unusually strict tone that had Felix caving in.

Felix knew, he himself was to be blamed for the strictness in his hyung's voice as he petulantly fought with Hannie to let him do his morning routine on his own but somehow he tripped in the bathroom which resulted in a big purple blooming bruise on his forearm. When Minho hyung was serving food at the breakfast table his eye fell on Felix's hand that had them fretting about him like mother hen once again, both Felix and Han had to listen to their hyung's scolding for at least an hour before bed. They wouldn't even let him go to the sofa without an extra person escorting him. Felix didn't complain much, excepted their concern rule because even if he did not wanted to admit he was fucking weak right now also that fall hurts like bitch. He would rather have someone next to him than falling on the floor all alone and then crawling out of it like a maggot.

Talking about the members, Felix looked around to see none of the member were visible he recalls the whereabouts of the other, Chan had gone out to the studio to get some tunes and lyrics finalized after Felix threaten him to break his laptop if he hears one more tunes tapping on loop to somehow get a music out of it but it was grating on his nerves like hell. Minho hyung, Changbin Hyung and Han went to gym to buff their muscles so that they all could pick Felix up easily, Hyunjin was out shopping his drawing material with an intent of drawing something for Felix again because he had requested Hyunjin to draw him something the to decorate his room and Hyunjin took it way too serious hence he could always find him researching thing to get an idea for a good present, while Seungmin sits in the kitchen reading a book something that was giving Felix a headache and as for their lovely maknae he seems to be making a full use of the day off and getting his beauty sleep fulfilled in his room.

Felix was silently enjoying his private time and soon was drifting into the land of unconsciousness. Seungmin came over to the couch to take a quick peek at the boy and see him huffing out soft regular breaths, it was hard for Felix to sleep since he started his new medication for chemo so they all were very relieved whenever they see the boy napping peacefully, Seungmin picks his book from the kitchen isle to go and sit on the loveseat near Lix and continuing read but not before tucking his cute hyung properly with the cover.

It wasn't even an hour later when Felix stirred awake with a groan, Seungmin looked up from his book, glasses perched on his nose. Felix had his eyebrow knitted with a green expression on his face.

"Felix?" Seungmin asked quietly, but Felix did not respond.

Seungmin felt uncomfortably concerned just sitting there but he did not want to make a scene and make Felix even more uncomfortable with too much nagging. It seemed as if Felix hadn't even heard him. Then without a warning he was sitting up quickly and throwing up into the container next to him that Seungmin did not even notice was next to the couch. Maybe the hyung must have kept it there before going out.
