It had been a week since the Harbingers had had their meeting and Two was in search of a drink and a conversation. He had been trying to track down the rebels for a few months now but every time he had gotten close they had avoided his capture by the skin of their teeth although recently he thought he was getting much closer to their base of operations.
He trudged down the snow covered streets and went into a seemingly random pub. It was rather disheveled but still packed to the bursting point with people drinking, chatting and laughing. At the bar he saw a familiar ginger drinking a pint of beer so he went to sit down next to him. As Two passed through the room he noticed a few eyes following his every move as he approached the lesser ranked harbinger. He took up a seat next to Targtaglia who was chatting to someone else and didn't hear the sound his chair scrape against the floor.
Two ordered a drink whilst he waited for the semi-drunk harbinger's attention. After a couple of minutes and a few sips of Two's drink Childe finally noticed him; he started speaking over all of the loud chatter and noises. "What brings you here Dottore?" Childe loudly chuckled
"I could ask the same for you" Two replied in his usual dead serious tone
"Oh lighten up, aren't you here to relax?"
"Haha, one might think so But no,"
"Oh, then why are you here?" Tartaglia asked slightly suspicious of the number two harbinger's reason for being their. The hubbub around had gotten noticeably quieter as the conversation continued.
"I came to ask you a question," Two said sipping on his drink.
"Oh and what's that?" The pub had gone practically silent now listening in on the two men's conversation.
"I was just wondering why the Regrator and his daughter are currently at my house receiving urgent care?"
Over the past week Four had gone to his lab and lived there, leaving Kaeya with a group of people who didn't particularly like him (apart from Zandik who had gone out of his way to talk to Kaeya whenever he saw him). After the whole fiasco with Three at the palace the mood in the house had surprisingly not changed, almost as if it had never happened which slightly annoyed Kaeya, not that he would or could act on it.
When Kaeya first woke up he had gotten into the habit of taking a walk along the tracks that ran through the forest. He found that he enjoyed spending time in cold and it woke him up for the day. When he'd get back he'd have breakfast and a mug of coffee before returning to his room to read, draw or write, whatever he was in the mood for that he could do with the limited set of items he had access to.
On this particular morning Kaeya had decided to take a longer walk than usual, reaching a frozen stream that still had the subtle crash of unfrozen turbulent water underneath the thin layer of ice.
When he got back he went to the kitchen to grab his breakfast. Once he had gotten his breakfast he went to the dining room to find Four eating a fairly large meal. His hair was greasy to the point that it was obvious he hadn't cleaned himself for an entire week, yet he did not stink, in fact he smelt perfectly normal. Under his mask he had deep bags under his eyes but despite this fact he showed no normal signs of fatigue. He also seemed slightly thinner and was eating at a very quick pace when he noticed Kaeya had entered the room. He swallowed his mouthful of food before greeting Kaeya in an uncharacteristically cheerful voice.
