My stomach is rumbling like crazy because of how that mad lady ate all of what I wanted to eat. I only get to eat half of what I usually eat.
Just when I was about to storm out of the dining room in frustration, she spoke, "Oh! I want to try and bake something later!" She said excitedly.
"Why would you want to bake? We already have people to do that for us." Roy mentioned.
"I want to bake." Astra demanded. "There's so many things I want to try to do and make in your kitchen!" She exclaimed, swinging her arms up in excitement.
"I don't know. Last time you tried to bake something it didn't turn out well." Roy sighed.
"That was the younger me, the younger me had no idea what they were doing." She said proudly. That's not really something you should be proud of.
"Whatever. Just don't burn anything." Roy said.
I left the room not caring about anything right now other than to find something to eat in our kitchen. I pushed my way through the double door and stomped through the kitchen, sliding the thick glass door that led into our massive rotunda pantry with a dome roof and an empire chandelier.
My eyes scan through all of the things I could munch on, but right now, I feel like eating jerky. I walked forward and grabbed an unopened bag of turkey jerky and ate it on my way back to my room.
__________The jerky bag laying on my desk has been long gone. I want to grab something else to snack on but I'm being swamped with work right now. I don't have the time to get up and even use the bathroom.
Fuck this. I sprung up and darted straight to the kitchen, but my nose smelled a strong smell of...baking spray? I peeked through the window on the double door that leads inside the kitchen but only to see Astra's back and her dark brown hair.
I opened the door and immediately she turned around with an apron around her neck and a can of cooking spray in her hand.
"What are you making?" I asked, bewildered by the mess she made behind her.
"A chocolate cream filled bundt cake!" She moved aside showing all the ingredients she had gathered from our pantry. I looked around the kitchen and saw several of our circular room pantry doors opened.
On the inside, my head beamed with joy when she mentioned the chocolate cream filled bundt cake. "Want my help?" I asked her, she nodded and handed me a matching apron. I tie the string around my neck and waist. "Do you know what you're doing?" I questioned, hoping she'll at least know something because I can't cook.
Astra shook her head and I stared blankly at her.
"What?" She asked, confused. "Do you know what you're doing Keith?" She asked back.
I shook my head as we both stared at each other blankly. "Awesome! Guess this'll be a fun experience for the both of us!" She said excitedly.
Astra pressed the button on the wall, right above our marble counter. The wall opened and coming out of the opened wall was a small monitor. Only made to be used for cooking.
