   TW: ED, Verbal Abuse

It had been 5 months without Eddie. Tomorrow would mark 6 without Chrissy. Each day felt worse and worse for Dustin. His mom and Steve told him everyday that it only gets better but Dustin didn't believe it because if it were true, he wouldn't be feeling like this.

Yeah Steve was a good friend, but there was something about Eddie that just was different. Eddie was like Dustin and saw Dustin for who he was. Eddie was the type of friend who told you to be yourself when talking to girls and that if they didn't like that, then it means they weren't the one. Eddie was the type of friend who wouldn't judge you for how you look because he was one to know exactly what that was like. Moral of it all, Eddie was a wonderful but misunderstood person.

Dustin missed Eddie like he've never missed anyone before and would do anything in a heartbeat to get him back.
If there was anyway to get him back that was time travel. That's when it clicked for Dustin

One day he went to the byer family home and asked el to help. El didn't know who Eddie was but was willing to help Dustin.  She then gathered hands with Dustin to help him go back in time. Before he knew it he was in his bedroom at his home the same morning the day Chrissy died.

He looked at his calendar to make sure he was correct because he couldn't part his mind from reality.
                          March 21
                     DND CAMPAIGN DAY

"Oh!" He said to himself as he started to regain back his memory.

"Dusty!" Mrs Henderson called out making sure Dustin was awake. "Im awake mom!"
"Oh just making sure!. Breakfast is ready aswell!"  "Okay I'll be down in a minute!" He replied
He still wondered what Eddie was up to and how he was going to prevent tonight from happening

                        Forest Hills Trailer Park

*BANG!^BANG!*BANG!* "Eddie hurry up in there would ya!"
"I would prefer if you didn't rush me unc'. The more I'm forced, the longer it'll take" Eddie replies.

"Well it seems like you've been in there long enough!"
The door then opened swiftly
There stood Eddie, face decorated with freckles and glee. Wearing a Motley Crue graphic crop top showing the perfect amount of skin and a pair of grey sweatpants

"I still have so much to do, unc'"
"Eddie you've been in here for nearly 1 got damn hour?"
"You haven't even been here for 'one got damn hour' so how would you know?" Eddie responded defensively

"Eddie please just hurry I mean what else do you have to do in here?"
"Hmm I still have to shower, I still gotta brush my teeth, and-"
"AND?!" Wayne interrupted with confusion and irk

"What do you mean 'and' Eddie?"
"And, before I was rudely interrupted, brush my hair"
"Do what you gotta do and get out of here Eddie"
"Sir yes Sir" Eddie replied closing the door in Wayne's face
"Damn boy" Wayne murmured to himself

                              537 Breakwater Dr.

"Christine?"
"Yes,mom?"
"Are you almost done honey?"
"Yes"
"Good I have a bowl of Greek yogurt on the table for you to have for breakfast"
"Okay mom" Chrissy said with a bit of dissatisfaction

"Make sure you hurry Chrissy. Jason said he would be here in 10 minutes"
"Yes mom"
Chrissy hadn't had the best relationship with her mother.  Especially since she was a horrible mother but Chrissy thought she was just treating her this way because she cares about her and want her to have the best life she can so she just obeyed whatever she said

Chrissy looked into her pink mirror at herself
She's wearing a HHS cheerleading uniform that she thinks get tighter every time she puts it on, with a pair of white Princess aerobic reeboks and her pink book bag.

She inspects everything she sees in the mirror picking out each flaw about it
She tries to see the good in how she looks but it's difficult to when her mother mentions every detail about her

"Oh Chrissy don't wear those pants. They make you look chubby"   "Christine, are you sure you wanna eat all of that?"   "Chrissy don't" "Chrissy please"  Chrissy Chrissy CHRISSY

It seems that's all she ever hears anymore.
Maybe Chrissy was thinking for a long time cause she was startled by an obnoxiously loud noise
*KNOCK *KNOCK*
"Chrissy come on! Jason's here"
"Okay"
Oh boy
