"Hes vanilla"

"Sorry for the mess. Maid took off for the week"
Chrissy looked around
It was a lot going on but she liked how homey it felt
"You um...you live here alone?"
"With my uncle but uh he works nights at the plant, bringing home the big bucks" he jokes

Eddie remembered what Dustin said for a moment and asked Chrissy
"Would you like some music playing or anything?"

"Oh sure" she replies
He turns on the radio and of course it's the pop station
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Eddie screamed
Chrissy began laughing out loud at his reaction
He headed to his room to look for the special k
Chrissy felt a bit eerie in the living room by herself

She went to the window to look and see if she saw anyone.
Nothing but other mobile homes with a blue light reflecting on them

"Eddie? Did you find it?"
No answer
"Eddie?"
Still no answer
Fear started to grow and she started to walk to the back room
"Eddie?"

There he was
Squatting down looking for the drug
"Hi"
"Hi" She replied
"You okay" he followed
"Oh yes I was just checking to see if you found it yet? No rush!"
"Oh I haven't but don't worry I'll find it soon"
"Okay again no rush" she said with a smile
She walked around the room and found a beautiful sight

A big red and black electric guitar with a lighting strike effect
"Wow this is beautiful Eddie"
He looked over to see what she was talking about
"Oh yeah she is a sight to see huh?"
"Truly"
He went back to looking for the pill
She went back to looking around his room

She looked on his dresser and saw a picture of a woman with long brown curly hair in a pair of overalls smiling holding a baby with short curls who looks about 1 years old
"Who is this?" She asked
Eddie stood up to look at what she saw
"Oh that's my mom"
"She's so pretty"
"Thank you, she'd be pleased to hear that"
Chrissy giggled and continued looking around
Eddie went back to looking for the pill

Chrissy looked down at his bedside table and was shocked at what she found

A pack of Trojans that were open

She gasped when she saw it but wasn't shocked
Eddie was confused so he walked over to see what she saw
"Hey!" He yelled and stuffed them in his drawer
"It's okay" she said
"It's not like I wasnt expecting you to do that type of thing you know"
" What do you mean by 'that type of thing'?"
"You know?" Chrissy replied nervously
"No I don't think I know" Eddie replied, teasing her

What they didn't realize was that they were getting closer and closer to each other by each sentence
She never realized how big he was compared to her
It was like she was standing in front of the Empire State Building

She also felt her heart beating in her hands
He chuckled and walked back looking for the special k
" I didn't expect you not to do that either Chrissy"
"How do you know I have?" She asked sternly
"Well I mean you're dating Jason fucking Carver. Of course you have"

As much as she wanted him to be wrong, he wasn't

"Yea but he's not so bad"
"Bullshit"
"I'm sorry?"
"There's no way Jason carver is good in bed" he said turned around to her with his arms crossed
Again as much as she wanted him to be wrong, he wasn't
Jason sucked at that
She was a faker
She wanted Jason to feel happy so she faked each and every moan and groan when all she felt was pain and ache

"Come on Chrissy he's so vanilla. Vanilla hair,vanilla looks and you know what else? Vanilla sex"
She gasped
"I'm right and you know it. But you're being the good little girlfriend you are and not saying anything" he used a mocking girl voice on the words "good little girlfriend"
"I mean you're not wrong"
"I know I'm not"

They looked in each other's eyes for a couple of seconds until they heard a dog barking for a couple of seconds
Eddie broke the contact and silence
"Well! I found the special k. Ready to get your ass rocked?" He said with a wide grin
"Ready to get my what what?"
She's so cute
"Never mind" he says with a laugh  "let's go shall we?"

They exited the room and headed back to the living room. The eerie feeling left as she remembered he was there with her.
Eddie studied her before giving her the drugs
"Wait have you ever done drugs. No let me rephrase that. Have you even smoked a cigarette before?"

Chrissy was planning on lying but she couldn't.
Especially not to the guy who was trying to help her
"No"
"That's okay let's get back to plan A"
He walked over to a shelf built into the wall and pulled a metal tin can off the built in platform
He opened it, looked back and smiled at her
"This is gonna be easier"
"Okay. Is this gonna work?"
"Its likely. No doubt but even if it doesn't I promise that I got you and I'll do whatever it takes to help you"

Promise
Do whatever it takes to help you
Those words hit her harder than it should've
She felt warm and safer than she ever have with Jason or her family
But Eddie was different. He saw right through her like the wine glass her mother drinks from every night at dinner and while she reads her books in her lounge chair.

"Okay" that was all she could say cause if she said anything else, she'd be embarrassed
"Okay" he copied back to her
