TW: drugs, implied sexual references

It was after the dnd campaign
Erica Sinclair whooped some ass in the game
Eddie shook her hand at the end and gave her a goodnight
"Goodbye lady applejack" Eddie said as he bowed down to her
"Goodnight" she said with a laugh
The rest of hellfire had left
Jeff, Gareth and Paul had been planning a night at ricks place

While Eddie was finishing cleaning up the game, he saw Dustin walk back in
"Hey man" Eddie said to him
"Hey...umm Eddie?"
"Yeah?"
Dustin couldn't find any way to explain to Eddie

Eddie tilted his head in confusion waiting for what Dustin was gonna say
"I know that Chrissy and you are hanging out"
Eddie felt a mix of shock and anger
"What do you mean 'you know' Dustin?" With a stern voice

"It's hard to explain but play a song Eddie trust me"
"Dustin it's not that kind of hang out okay? We are just-..."
"I know Eddie. Just play a song, that's all I ask." Dustin interrupted
"Okay" Eddie felt a little scared

He had never seen Dustin act this serious
He had been acting kinda funny all day but Eddie didn't pay much attention to it
He wanted to ask Dustin if he was okay but he walked away so fast that Eddie didn't have much time for questions

Eddie had already been finished with the cleaning so he grabbed his keys, and his book bag and then left out of the room
The parking lot looked dead. It always does at night but tonight it's more uncomfortable
He had a girl coming to his house
But not just any girl
Chrissy Cunningham, The Queen Of Hawkins High.

If he knew it was gonna go this way he would've cleaned up even more then just the table. After the deal with Chrissy in the forest, Eddie went back home to eat dinner with his uncle before he went to the campaign. He brushed his teeth so his breath didn't reek of a McDonald's burger with onions and pickle. Then applied a second layer of his body spray. He was sure he smelt like a cinnamon heaven now.

All that cleaning but didn't even think to clean off the counters or change his sheets.
He didn't expect her to be in his room but who knows, anything is possible. That wasn't the best idea in his case either. He had spilt bong water on his sheets that morning and left a huge stain on his sheets and mattress. So that'll be hell for him to sleep on later on tonight

Eddie walked to his van and to his surprise he saw a short little woman standing by the driver side of the van
He put on a British accent
"Lady Cunningham, have my late arrival upset you?"
Chrissy laughed as she replied
"No but it is a bit creepy out here"
"Yeah let's get out of here haha"
Eddie walked her to the passenger side of the van.
She was so tiny it was difficult for her to get in by herself
And him being the gentleman he is, Eddie offered to help and she took it

He held her by her wrist as she climbed in the seat
His hands were warm and soft in hers
Much bigger than hers as well
They had held eye contact for at-least 5 seconds

"Thank you" she had said
"Mhm"
He ran to the driver side and jumped in
The van smelt like mint due to the little tree working full time hanging on the mirror
The back had 2 extra seats for guests

Chrissy assumed that's where his band mates sit when they go to gigs
"You ready" he asked
Chrissy hesitated with her answer
Eddie reassured her

"We don't have to do this if you don't want to Chrissy"
Chrissy could hear the disappointment in his voice but she wanted to do this
"No I wanna do this im positive"
"Okay" he started up the van and continued to drive

The rides first 5 minutes was awkward until Eddie asked
"So...did we win?"
"I didn't know you were interested in school sports"
"Oh I'm not I'm just trying to get a laugh out of myself if we lost"
"Well seems like you're gonna have to cry tonight because we won!"
"No way!"
"Yup"

"Wow I wonder who finally chose to up their game this year"
"It was Lucas Sinclair haha"
Eddie's face lit up
"I'm sorry?"
"Lucas...Sinclair"

"Oh"
"Do you know him?"

Eddie had to think about it for a while before he answered
As much as he didn't like the basketball team, he didn't wanna ruin anything for Lucas so he just replied
"No, I've seen him around. He sounds like a good good kid though"
"Oh yeah, he is"

They were at a red light and the ride got boring
It would've been another 14-19 minutes before they got to the trailer
So Eddie turned on the radio
A pop station turned on
"Ugh" Eddie groaned
"Excuse me?" Chrissy asked
"This station sucks"
Chrissy gasped in disbelief
"How dare you say such thing?"
"What?" Eddie said with a laugh
"Im not gonna lie and say it's good if it's not"
"That's fair" Chrissy replied
The light finally turned green

"So, what are you doing for spring break?" Chrissy asked
"Im actually going to be watching my friend Rick's lake house over the break while he's gone" Eddie replies

"Oh! He's out of town?" Chrissy asked
"No he's in jail for 40"
"Ohhh 40 weeks?"
"Haha 40 years"
Chrissy's face grew with shock
Eddie looked over at her and laughed

"I'm also gonna be practicing new songs over break"
"Really what song?"
"Master of puppets by Metallica"
"Ohhh"
"You know that song?" Eddie asked
"I've heard of it"
"Oh you don't know what you're missing"
"Why don't you play it when we get to the trailer?"
"I can't" Eddie threw a hand to his head in an exaggerated manner
"I'm rusty" that got a laugh out of Chrissy
"Haha! Come on please"
"Fine!"

"Yay! That means I don't gotta wait for the hideout"
That gave Eddie a burst of happiness knowing that she was going to his performance

5 minutes later
They were at the trailer
