After spending the whole day with everyone, y/n heads home. Coming out of the car, she walks her way towards the door, with her lips stretched up without a rest.

She feels happy. Today's event is definitely eventful and memorable. She played games with her friends, ate fast food together, and did so many activities.

And one more thing she remembers, the final event before all of them depart.

"Group friend picture!!" Yells Maria and she lifts up her phone for a selfie. Y/n feels Sunoo holding her and pushes her to get into the frame. She feels flustered and looks at the camera where in the picture, everyone is presented.

"Group friend..."

"Friend..." She can't stop smiling at the word. Usually, the word friend would only remind her of Sunoo, her first friend. But now, the picture has expanded bigger, with many people in the frame.

She has never realized their values until now. She feels stupid for being so blind.

"I have more friends!!" She giggles with her high pitch whisper yell. She's on cloud nine...

Not realizing the existence of someone standing at the open entrance.

"Kang y/n." Her steps halt and her heart stops beating. She shoots her head up and her blood goes cold when she sees her father.

"F-father..." At that moment, she remembers what she did wrong. The corner of her eyes finally notices the colour of the sky, it's almost sunset. She's supposed to attend the business class, but she ditched it for the outing.

She has messed up big time.

Words can't be uttered. She knows she can't do anything now, she will be punished for her actions.

Slowly and hesitantly, she makes her way towards the door, and stands in front of her father with her head low. She feels ashamed of herself.

"I've wasted money... Not only by spending it at the mall, but wasted the fee father paid for the class..."

"F-father... I'm so sorry..." She clutches the hem of her dress in fear. Mr Kang hasn't said anything but kept his intense glare on her the whole time.

"Where did you go?" His deep voice sends a weird shiver down her spine.

"I-i went to the mall... With my friends..." He sees the tiny paper bag y/n is holding.

"I see." Simply said, unexpected words to hear. Y/n's head shoots up at him. To her surprise, he looks...

Calm?

"Father?" He keeps silent.

"A-are you not mad at me??" She reluctantly asks the triggering question.

And she feels her blood goes cold when she sees the corner of her father's lips... Suddenly stretches up.

"Of course not!" Her shoulders jolt up. What's with the bright tone?! He's smiling?! Her strict father is smiling!!

"F-father??" She begins to feel like she's at the wrong doorsteps. She looks around in confusion, but it's her residence for sure. She looks at her father in bewildered.

"I'm not mad. You must be cold, you should go and take a shower." Mr Kang then turns around and walks away, leaving her daughter frozen as a stone.

"What in the world?" Somehow it's quite unpleasant, since it was unexpected to see that abrupt change.
