JIMIN'S POV:
Several days passed by, even taehyung's grounding period was over, but still I had no courage to confront hoseok.
I didn't want to lose the only friend that I had... his jokes, his laughs, his mischievous actions, his caring and kind gestures, I was afraid to come face to face with the truth, what if he really lied to me and had some ulterior motives behind approaching me and helping me??
If it really was what I suspected, I knew I would never be able to trust anyone in my life, and I didn't want that..
I was finally able to smile, be confident and excited about things. Even going to uni had became a fun thing for me, since I used to get to meet hoseok, ryu no more looked down upon me having hoseok all by my side...
The encounter and the conversation I had with lexi, was also troubling me. I was having a hard time deciding whether to tell jungkook about it or not....considering how they had already broken up, it seemed okay for me to not tell him but since they probably were still in love with each other, and I had suspected of something very nasty of lexi, I also thought that it would be rational for me to tell it all to jungkook but again, jungkook was being nice to me and I didn't want him to shoo me away for being rude to lexi....
'Let's go downstairs and have breakfast!' Jungkook said, pulling my subconscious back from the pool of my thoughts...
Since his mother had arrived there from her maternal place the particular day, and it was one of her rules that the members of the family must eat together and as I was soon to become one, she asked for my presence in the dinning hall as well. I was sort of nervous since I would have to encounter taehyung too but I was glad that jungkook was there with me...
All I knew about her was that Mr jeon married her after the divorce with his first wife and her only biological son was jungkook, but I have heard rather good things about her from the high circle parties which I have attended with my mom..

'Is the food upto your taste, my dear?' I couldn't help but nod to her angelic voice.
'I am sorry I couldn't attend the engagement, son! My mom gets sick very often, and I like to attend to her needs by myself.'
'No worries, aunty!' I said, earning a radiant smile from her...
'Now that I am here, let's spend a lot of time together! Is that okay to you?'
'Of course, aunty! It would be a pleasure to spend time with you.' I said, as jungkook nudged me with his elbow expressing his disagreement...
'What?' I eyed him..
'Is there a problem, jungkook?' She said while squinting her eyebrows..
'No, mom!' Jungkook said, almost immediately..
'There better not be!' She said firmly, sipping on her organic tea...
'How are your studies going taehyung?' She asked diverting all her attention towards taehyung who had been real quiet since the beginning..
'Good!' He said!
'Care to explain how it's good when you have been grounded for a whole month?'
'I am sorry!' Taehyung muttered!
'You better be! Although your dad hasn't told me the reason of him grounding you, it must be quite serious since he is not the sort of person to punish his children in such way...'
'I understand, mom!' Taehyung said while quietly having his breakfast....
She was quite strict when it came to disciplining both of her sons, as much as I heard of her as a kind and loving mother, she was also not one of them who would not care of her sons' actions...
