For obvious reasons, chaos had to ensue for whatever mess I decided to create on my own!

It again led to another gathering of Kims and Parks together, accompanied with lexi's dear mother as well.

Lexi was sobbing, her eyes were evidently swollen, but I doubt whether it was a genuine act of hers.

Jungkook was constantly wiping her tears with tissue, shushing her down!

'How did this happen? We were sure to hide matter about lexi's son and her past with the jungs! Who could even do such an atrocious act?' Mr. Kim was in a deep thought, meanwhile I exchanged eye glares with taehyung, assuring him that it was me..

As taehyung had confronted me regrading his doubts on the suspicious behaviour of the trio consisting of jungkook, lexi and her mother, I had to distract them and come up with something to lay them off for while.

'Who could it possibly be? Only an inferiority complexed, unhappy and an envious person can do it. Aren't I right, jimin?'

'Me?' I acted confused as jungkook accused me of doing something which I did! Fair enough!

'Drop your act! I am assured you are the one to leak the news to media and now lexi is facing the heat of it all. The amount of backlash and trolling she is going through is something you can't even imagine of!'

'Why would I do it when the merger is just near the horizon?' I retaliated strongly!

I mean, these sort of backslashes and internet trolling were hardly not enough to cause even a minute decline in the stock prices, so the merger was not to be affected in ways!

'Are you sure you did not do it, jimin?'

'No!' I affirmly said after my dad questioned me. Sure, I got nervous for a second but I managed to lie somehow..

'Now, we just need to concentrate upon how we would tackle this collectively! What's done is done! It can't be resurrected either way!' My mom spoke up, right after me.

'Obviously, You would say so to cover your son's errors. Why don't you just focus on drinking and not delve yourself into something which is not your expertise?' Dad berated mom, infront of everyone. He firmly believed that I was the culprit.

No matter how passive and dull my parents relationship was, they never showed it in public, and dad never behaved in such a way with mom infront of others.

I looked at jungkook, he was flashing his cheap smile on my dad's remark!

'What was that, dad? That isn't a way to talk to mom!'

Dad clicked his tongue, and stood up from his seat, adjusting his sleeves.

'I have an announcement to make.' He said, completely ignoring me and my mom, whose fingers were trembling underneath the table!

'I am getting divorced!'

Mom was so hurt at the statement that she had kept her head down, and her teary eyes were evident enough to show how she was feeling.

The whole atmosphere was getting eerie, my heart was thumping in this abnormal manner and moreover I had no clue what dad was upto, all of a sudden.

I agree, their relationship was nothing more than an empty shell, but the sudden announcement of divorce caught me off guard and I was unexplainably hurt.

Jungkook was still on his happy zone, leading me to think he was involved in it too.

'And on a happy side, I am getting married soon to the love of my life! Now that I have fulfilled all of my responsibilities, the merger is just about to take place, my son is betrothed to the to be chairman, whatever years of life I have left in my account, I want to live it accordingly with someone who gives me joy and whom I truly love. My love, my lyza, my first and my last!
