Only after testing out several more mattresses and selecting their bed set do Jimin and Jungkook decide on the best-selling mattress.

Jungkook claims the others aren't as comfortable nor do they allow him to bend Jimin up how he wants (yes, he does attempt).

They ultimately found that the second bed they tried was the softest and most comfortable. Looking at the price of the hybrid mattress, it made sense.

"It'll be worth it baby," Jungkook promises when Jimin complains, "A bed is something you utilize every night. Whether that be for sleep or other things..."

Jimin has to roll his eyes.

"You want it to be the most ideal and comfortable."

"You're right," Jimin concedes and Jungkook grins from behind his mask, his hand pulling Jimin in close.

"You hungry?" Jungkook asks and Jimin nods.

"What do you say? Want to go on a little date? Eat some street food? Do some window shopping?" Jungkook's tone is singsong-ish, his eyes doe and puppy-like.

"I'm sure Yoongi is starving," he adds when Jimin hums unsurely.

"I don't know, don't you think people will notice us? What if we get swarmed?"

"Then I'll protect you, no biggie," Jungkook shrugs.

Jimin snorts in amusement and Jungkook bites back a sheepish smile. "Okay..." he concedes, "Yoongi hyung will protect you."

Jimin laughs, "Sure then after we can go to the gym before it gets too late."

"You can't go a day without working out can you?" Jungkook groans.

"And you can't go a day without mentioning or having sex," Jimin retorts.

Jungkook sputters. "I went two weeks without it once!"

"You still mentioned it," Jimin reminds him.

Jungkook eyes go sheepish from under his cap only momentarily, his mischievous smirk returning like it never left. "Shit baby," his hands slide down to Jimin's ass. "It's not my fault I can't get enough of you."

He squeezes and Jimin's eyes widen, his hand quick to slap Jungkook's away.

"Not in the store!"

"In the car then?"

"No!"

In Jimin's mind, dating is an opportunity to discover both your partner and yourself. It demonstrates how effectively they'll manage commitment in their daily lives.

Because it's Jungkook and him, that sense of profound unknown isn't there. Nonetheless, they're still learning each other like a new couple, still questioning whether or not they're compatible.
