"I don't know if he meant it. I mean Jungkook always says crazy things during sex but he mentioned wanting to marry me one day," Jimin sighs, a handful of cashews going straight to his mouth as he stress eats.

"Honestly Jimin, after fucking you that one time I had those same thoughts until I got rammed by Hoseok again so I don't blame him."

"Tae!"

The younger man just cackles through the phone as Jimin continues going through his emails and bookings, a distressed sound emitting from his mouth.

"I'm joking — but okay, in all seriousness, what did you say?" His friend asks and Jimin flushes as he tries to remember.

"Honestly, I was being fucked so good that I don't even remember," he cries exasperatedly, "I think I agreed, I don't know. I'm sure he knows I didn't mean it though."

Taehyung is quiet for a moment before he asks. "Well, why didn't you mean it? What's stopping you?"

Jimin's eyes widen as his fingers pause on his laptop. He adjusts the phone on his shoulder and starts with a stutter. "W-What do you mean Tae? We're not ready for marriage! What are you saying!"

"I'm not saying anything I'm just asking!" And Jimin can imagine the way Taehyung's holding his palms up innocently. "What would be holding you two back? When do you think you'll be ready?"

"Shit Tae," Jimin scratches his eyebrow as he thinks. "I don't know. I'm not sure if marriage is in the picture for us," he says honestly. "I just personally never really thought about it. It's not even legal yet."

"True but still, it hasn't crossed your mind even once?" Taehyung questions in surprise. "Settling down and having kids one day?"

"Truthfully, no. Not even when I told myself I liked women. I want kids, I thought about that just... never thought about how I'd get them I guess."

"And what about Jungkook? What about his feelings? What if he really wants to get married? Would you consider it?"

"Well—" Jimin's eyebrows furrow. "If this was someone else I'd say no but this is Jungkook we're talking about. I'd consider anything for him."

"And that's great, that means you really love him."

"Yeah... I just don't know what to do or say. I mean, I'm not ready for all that. We haven't even been together romantically for a year."

"And just tell him that Jiminie, there's no rush. You two will be together forever."

Jimin goes silent at that. He hopes so. He wishes.

"You want that right?" Taehyung whispers and his voice is hopeful and almost concerned.

"Of course," Jimin says immediately, eyes wide. "But sometimes—" he grips the phone tightly. "It's so hard," Jimin doesn't know why he feels emotional suddenly but he does. "Sometimes I feel like we barely even know each other. I mean," he swallows, "we've been friends for years now but it's just so different now. We would never argue with each other or even push too much into each other's personal life and now it's like the complete opposite. He worries over everything I do and we argue over the most trivial things Tae. Like it's so annoying and sometimes I don't know what to think. He's so open with me but I'm so set in my ways that sometimes I just feel like we're not compatible."
