Gabriela quickly rushed home, hoping her husband wasn't there yet. She quickly walked to Oceans room and knocked on the door.
"Ocean, sweetie?" Gabriela asked, "Please can I come in?.."
Ocean sniffed, "...fine."
Gabriela slowly opened the door and saw Ocean, sat with her knees pulled up to her chest, on her bed, crying. She closed the door behind her and sat opposite her daughter.
"Ocean.." she started, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry for how I've been treating you... I know it won't mean much right now, but I'm going to get better... I promise."
Ocean looked up slightly,
"Thank you..."
"There's also more...I'm going to divorce your father. Its for the best."
Ocean nodded and hugged her mother slightly. Gabriela hugged back, letting Ocean cry into her shoulder.Gabriela stayed in Ocean's room that night. She left Oceans room in the morning after her husband returned home.
"Jack. We need to talk." Gabriela glared.
"Okay love, what is it?"
"Don't. Were getting a divorce,and I want you gone."
Jack just rolled his eyes,
"Fine. I never loved you anyway. I just wanted a kid, but she's a failure too." Jack left, leaving Gabriela to stand there.
She picked up her phone and messaged Lacy, asking her to come over. Lacy quickly agreed, wanting to spend more time with the other woman.Lacy got there quickly and Gabriela opened the door for her.
"Hun, are you okay?" Lacy frowned.
Gabriela shrugged and let her in.
"What happened?" Lacy asked, sitting on the couch next to Gabriela.
"I uhm... I told my husband I want a divorce and he said that he never loved me...and he called Ocean a dissapointment..." Gabriela mumbled.
Lacy frowned again and hugged Gabriela,
"Gabs...hun, I'm so sorry..."
Gabriela felt her face heat up at the nickname and she was about to say something when Ocean walked in.
"Oh. Uhm, I'm sorry. Uh, hi Lacy." Ocean said awkwardly.
Gabriela quickly pulled away.
"Hi sweetie" Lacy smiled softly, "Are you okay?"
Ocean hesitantly nodded.
She was about to go back into her room, but she paused,
"Mom, can Connie come over?"
Gabriela nodded,
"Yeah, of course"
Ocean nodded and whispered a 'thank you' before walking back to her room.
Gabriela immediately hugged Lacy again. Lacy frowned and went back to hugging her.
"It'll be okay Gabby.." Lacy whispered, "I'll be here for you if you need me, okay?"
Gabby nodded and just held onto the taller woman, not wanting to lose the warmth of the embrace.
Lacy didn't mind Gabby holding onto her. Oddly enough, she liked the Gabby's embrace. She felt her heart flutter thinking about the woman holding onto her. She ignored that feeling and pushed it away, focusing on the Gabby, who had began to cry again.
"It'll be okay Gabs... I promise.." Lacy didn't know why she promised that, but she felt a duty to help Gabby. Was it her feelings? Maybe. As Gabby pulled her closer by the waist, and rested her head on her shoulder, she knew what she was feeling. Therefore giving her the answer to her question. She wouldn't admit it though. Not yet.Ocean quickly walked back into her room and messaged her girlfriend.
Connie❤️
Oce: Connie?
Connie: Oce, are you okay?
Oce: uhm, I don't know? Please can you come over?
Connie: Yeah, Of course i can Oce. I'm on my way now<3
Oce: Thank you Connie<3Ocean sat in here room, waiting for Constance to get there. She pulled her knees up to her chest. She had heard her parents arguing. Was she really a dissapointment? Despite all her attempts to be a straight-A student, she was still not good enough.
She was pulled from her thoughts by a knock at her door. She got up and opened the door, immediately being pulled into a hug by her girlfriend.
"Connie..." Ocean whispered.
Constance let go and closed the door behind her.
"What's wrong, Oce?.." Constance asked, going to Ocean's bed.
The two of them sat down on Oceans bed and Ocean rested her head on Constance's shoulder.
"My parents are getting divorced and my dad said I was a dissapointment but my mums trying to get better... So that's good I guess?" Ocean was fidgeting with the sleeves of her sweater.
Constance hugged Ocean again, gently whispering,
"I'm sorry... And don't listen to your dad. You aren't a dissapointment. You're perfect and a great person, Oce."
Ocean clung onto her girlfriend, on the verge of tears,
"Thank you Connie..."
"Of course Sweetheart."
Ocean blushed at the nickname and began to stutter.
Constance giggled and softly kissed Ocean's forehead.
Ocean became even more flustered and hid her face. Constance smiled and cuddled her girlfriend.Ricky blushed as they woke up, still lying on Savannahs lap. They carefully moved their head off of her lap, causing Savannah to wake up.
"Ricky?" She mumbled.
"Sorry... Did I wake you up?.." Ricky frowned.
Savannah shook her head, "No! Don't worry."
Ricky nodded, smiling at the tall girl. Savannah missed the feeling of her skin against theirs and gently rested her head on their shoulder. Ricky smiled and rested their head against hers. Savannah blushed. She had so many words that she wanted to say, but she couldn't say them. Not now. She sighed, causing Ricky to frown,
"Sav, are you okay?"
Savannah blushed and stuttered,
"Oh- Uhm- Im- yeah I'm fine..."
Ricky frowned, not convinced. They turned themself to face Savannah.
'Please tell me what's wrong.' Ricky signed.
Savannah frowned, she wasn't telling them about her feelings yet. She thought about something else that was at the top of her mind. Her parents.
"Just thinking about my parents. That's all..."
Ricky frowned,
'I'm sorry' they signed, placing a hand on Savannah's leg, which in honesty made her more anxious.
"It's fine... I guess..."
Ricky nodded before looking at the time.
'Do you want to get some food?'
Savannah shook her head. She didn't care that she hadn't eaten in a while. It didn't matter to her.
'Did you eat yesterday before you left?'
"Yes." Savannah lied unconvincingly.
'Sav. Please don't lie to me.'
"Okay. I didn't eat before I left."
'When did you last eat?'
"I don't like these questions."
'Sav, please. You're worrying me now.'
'Sav. That's not good.'
"I- I'm sorry... I can't explain it but... I just can't eat..."
Ricky frowned and sighed,
'Not even something small?'
Savannah frowned. She didn't want to upset Ricky... But she didn't want to eat...
"I can't now... I can try later, but I'm not going to promise anything..."
'Thank you' Ricky smiled slightly.
Savannah nodded and looked down at her hands. Ricky paused for a moment before hugging Savannah and pulling her onto their lap. Savannah blushed but hugged back. She was definitely in love.
