Eisa and her older sister have been at saltwic for almost 3 months. While her older sister seemed to hate it, Eisa quite liked it. There was plenty of room for her to play, many books that she could read and Aelfwynn was there.

Aelfwynn was Eisa's best friend. They would play for hours outside, whether it was picking flowers, catching ladybugs or simply just chasing each other. They would spend their evenings, curled up and reading. And there nights they would spend talking in hushed whispers and giggles, being careful not to wake up Stiorra.

The first one and a half months were great, then it became difficult. Eisa thought she would die of boredom. Aelfwynn barely wanted to play anymore, she just watched her bird and cried, Eisa tried to comfort her best friend the best she could but there was only so much the 9 year old could do.

Stiorra didn't even let them go outside as much, it was obvious to Eisa that her older sister was becoming very moody. Eisa didn't blame her, she knew it wasn't easy watching over her and Aelfwynn but now with stiorra's extra moodiness it was hard for eisa to do her favorite thing. And that was, annoy her big sister.

So that left a bored eisa stuck in an estate with two emotional girls.

It was a few days until it would mark the second month of their stay, when he came. He barely talked the first few days when he arrived, he just observed. But Eisa was fine with that, she loved a challenge. After his first week, Eisa noticed him start to get relaxed around them. He didn't stay in his corner writing and reading alone as much. He still didn't talk as much but it was okay, eisa did enough talking for the both of them.

Aethelstan realized very quickly that Eisa liked to talk. She would talk to him and he would listen as she jumped from one topic to another, stopping a few times to catch her breath. She liked reading, he would find her with a book in her hands most of the time. But one of the things he noticed she liked a lot was to annoy Stiorra. He had to admit...it was quite an entertaining sight.

. . .

"Eisa! Would you just listen to me!" Stiorra shouts as she chases after her little sister into the dining room. The sound of the two girls' footsteps alerted Aelfwynn and Aethelstan who were sitting on a chest, they looked away from Aelfwynn's bird to see the two sisters standing on opposite ends of the table. Stiorra's face had a look of annoyance while Eisa had a mischievous grin.
