Chapter 15

It was the time of the day, the Mehta family and the Khanna family were sitting in the living area. The table was filled with refreshments.

Bee Ji: To roka aaj hi kar lete hain.

Avneil and others were shocked. Avneil looked at each other then they again looked at the Bee Ji.

Shweta: Itni jaldi, Bee Ji.

Nm: han, hum ne to koi tiyari hi nahi ki.

Bee Ji: To phir kal.

Ashish: kuch din ki mohlat to dijiye. Shopping wagera ka time.

Bee Ji: woh to ek din main hi ho jaegi.

Bari Dadi: Fikar mat karo. Tum log aram se shopping karo. Abhi kuch din hain tum sab ke wapis jane main. Jane se ek din pehle kar lenge roka.

Everyone nodded and said "Yeh theek hai"

Bee Ji: to theek hai phir.

Neil and others smiled except Avni. Neil looked at Avni and his smile faded. Avni looked at Neil and she smiled faintly. Neil sighed her what happened but Avni shook her head and smiled. Neil was confused. Neil thinks.

Later, Shweta was in the kitchen. Avni and Neela maa came into the kitchen. Shweta was busy preparing lunch. She was standing in front of a big pan and stirring the spoon. The staff was there for her help.

Shweta: Aray, aap log yahan kyun agaye. Aap log bethiye main bus abhi ayi.

Nm: hum wahan beth kar kya karenge.

Shweta: Matlab.

Nm: Matlab, Ashish aur Prakash Ji business ki duniya main chale gaye hain aur Bebe aur Maa apni purani yadon main. Aur Bee Ji aur Dadi apne kheton main. To hum confuse ho gaye ke hum kahan jaen to hum yahan chale aye.

The chuckled.

Shweta: Yahan garmi hai is liye kaha.

Nm: Adat hai mujhe.

Shweta: Lekin Avni ko adat nahi hogi.

Avni looked at Neela maa.

Nm: Avni apni studies main itni busy hoti hai ke usay khana khane ki fursat nahi hoti to banana to dur ki baat.

Shweta: Achi baat hai. Abhi is ki life hai enjoy karne ki na ke kitchen main jhukne ki.

Avni smiled and felt happy that Shweta is so understanding.

Nm: Main kuch help karwaun?

Shweta: Ab...

Nm: aray don't hesitate.

Shweta: Salad.

Nm: knife kahan hai?

Shweta smiled.

Shweta: Wahan, us side.

They smiled. Neela maa goes to get the knife.

Shweta: Avni, beta betho na.

Avni smiled and she goes to sit on the chair and starts helping Neela maa in cutting salad. Shweta and Neela maa smiled to see her. Avni was silent and Neela maa felt that.

On the other side, Neil was sitting with his friends on the couch but they were not with the family. His friends were talking and Neil was thinking.

Neil in mind: koi to baat hai jo Avni ko pareshan kar rahi hai. Roke ki baat sunte hi us ke chahre ka rang hi Ur gaya. Kya woh abhi roka nahi chahti? Mujhe Avni se baat karni hogi.

Neil looked up and looked at the kitchen because when everyone was sitting together, Neil's phone rang and he went to talk. After all, it was an important call and when he was coming back then he saw Avni and Neela maa going to the kitchen so he sat on the couch there and then his friends came.
