Chapter 03

At the time of the night, the moon was shining over the Khanna mansion where the whole Khanna family was sitting in the dining area, Neil came to the dining area and was smiling. Neil sat on the chair and saw Bebe is looking at her plate. Neil looked down. He filled his plate and Prakash and Shweta were looking at them. They all have dinner silently. Neil wipes his hands and mouth with the handkerchief.

Neil: mom, when will we go to our village?

Shweta: after two days.

Neil: ok.

Bebe looked up from her plate. She looked at Neil. Prakash was also surprised.

Prakash: Matlab tu bhi humare sath...

Neil nods.

Neil: maine leave li hai.

Bebe and all got happy.

Neil: but only for 15 days.

Bebe smiled. Neil keeps his arm on the table and leans toward Bebe.

Neil: ab to aap khush hain na?

Bebe cups his cheeks with one hand.

Bebe: mera pyara bacha.

Neil smiled and moved back.

Neil: lekin agar mujhe wahan acha nahi laga to main wapis ajaonga.

Bebe: han baba ajana ab khush.

Neil smiled.

On the other side, in the Mehta house, Dayawanti Mehta came into the dining area where Avni and her family were sitting. They got up then everyone sits. They have the food on their plates.

Avni was about to have the morsel.

Dm: do din bad hum sab humare gaon jaenge aur ye mera final decision hai.

Avni looked at her. Ashish and Neela maa looked at Avni who left the food and goes from there.

Ashish: princess.

Nm: Avni.

But Avni climbed the stairs and ran from there. Ashish and Neela maa looked at each other then they looked at Dayawanti Mehta.

Ashish: Maa.

Dayawanti Mehta cuts him.

Dm: mujhe is bare main koi baat nahi karni. Aaj tak maine Avni ki har baat mani hai lekin is baar usay meri baat manani hogi.

Dayawanti Mehta goes. Ashish and Neela maa looked at each other.

Avni jumped on her bed and lays on her stomach. She sat and throws the pillows and cushions. She got up and messed up the bed. She jumped on the bed and this time she was laying on her back and her eyes were closed. She was panting. She opened her eyes and got up. Avni goes to the window and looked at the sky. She thinks.

After two days, the car was standing outside the Mehta house and the servants were keeping the things in the trunk of the car. Avni was looking at her phone.

Ashish: come, princess.

Avni looked at him then she looked away and made a face then she sighs. Avni goes to him and sat in the backseat with Neela maa and Dayawanti Mehta. They go.

On the other side, the view was almost the same, the servants were keeping the bag in the trunk of the car and the Khanna family was standing there. Neil was standing at the side and was waiting for someone. He looked at his phone and dialed a number. The ring was going but no one received the call.
