Chapter 13

It was the time of night, the moon was shining in the sky. Avni was standing on the terrace and she was waiting for Neil and the gunshot echoed. Avni flinched and the cell phone fell from her hand. Neil was brushing his hair, he turned his face and was shocked. Avni shivered because of fear.

Neil: Gunshot.

Neil thinks. Neil was shocked.

Neil: Avni.

Neil was shocked. Neil grabbed the torch from the table. Neil goes to the cupboard and he took out his gun. Neil looked at the gun.

On the other side, Avni was about to go downstairs but the lights turned off. Avni looked around and Neil too looked around. Neil thinks. Neil heard the gunshots. Avni saw the fires in the air. Avni was shocked. Avni had never seen this dreadful thing in her life. Avni ran back and she sat near the wall by keeping her hands on her ear and she closed her eyes.

Neil heard the shouting and sounds. Neil switched on the torch and he goes. Neil was passing by the corridor and the lights turned on. Neil came to the living area where everyone has gathered.

Neil: yeh firing kon kar raha hai?

Bee ji: lagta hai phir se Dako ghus aye hain.

Everyone was shocked.

DD: Dako?

A man came while running.

Man: Bee ji, woh police ayi hai keh rahe hain kuch Dako bhag kar yahan gaon main agaya hai.

Bee ji: Le, ho gaya phir se siyapa. Satiya naas ho in Dakoon ka. Chain se sone bhi nahi date. Dekho, bhai sab ghar main dekho kahin koi ghus to nahi aya.

Neil nodded.

Bee ji: Lekin ek gal dus mainu ke yeh bijli kis ne band ki hai?

Neil: Humain time waste nahi karna chahiye. Ho sakta hai ke andhere ka faida utha kar woh log yahan na chup gaye hon.

Everyone nodded.

Neil: Mom, Bebe, Bee ji, aap log ek room main jaen aur usay andar se lock kar den aur jab tak main na kahu bahar mat aiye ga.

Neil looked at DD.

Neil; DD, saat jaa.

DD nodded. They go. Everyone starts searching.

On the other side, someone entered the Mehta house and looked around. The lights were off there. The face of the man was covered with the veil. He looked at the stairs. There are two stairs that go to the terrace. One is inside the home and the other outside. He goes up the stairs and ran up. He saw no one is there so he sat near the wall but Avni was there. She was under the wooden bed. Avni saw the goon and she was shocked to see the man. Avni put her hand on her mouth.

In Khanna's house, Neil and other men were searching for the goon. Neil stopped to hear the announcement.

The police jeeps were standing and the police force was standing with their weapons.

Policeman: Police ne is gaon ko charon taraf se gher liya hai.

Avni and Neil heard the announcement.

Policeman: bhalai isi main hai ke khud ko police ke hawale kar do.

Avni thinks. The lights turned on and Avni was shocked. The man was also shocked and he looked around then he turned his face. The man was shocked to see Avni and Avni was also shocked.

On the other side, Neil and others were looking for the goons in the home. Neil was passing by the corridor and he heard the sound of falling something. Neil looked at the storeroom and he pointed his gun there. Neil goes to the storeroom and he switched on the torch. Neil opened the door and he moved to it.

Neil entered the storeroom and he search there and heard a sound. Neil turned and he saw a man hiding behind the boxes. Neil was shocked and the man was also shocked.

Neil: Ab tum bach nahi sakte. Bhalai isi main hai bahar aa jao.

The man got up and Neil moved forward. The man threw boxes at Neil who stumbled and fell. The man ran.

Neil: Aye rok.

Neil shot at the leg side but the man got saved. Neil got up and he ran behind the man. Neil's friends and DD saw the man running and they ran behind it. Neil was also running. Neil shot his leg and the man fell down. DD and others came and DD made him stand. The man was wincing.

Neil: DD, le kar jaa isay police ke pass.

DD nodded and he took the man from there. The gun was in DD's hand also.

Vidyut: Hum ne pura ghar dekh liya. Kahin bhi koi nahi hai.

Neil: ache se dekha hai?

Ali: Han.

Neil: Theek hai. Tu mom aur sab ko bahar nikal. Main Mehta house jaa raha hun.

Vidyut and Ali nodded. Neil goes.

Vidyut: Chal.

Ali nodded and he said chal. They go to home.

Neil entered the Mehta house and he was moving to the home. Neil heard the sound of feet so he turned. Neil was shocked to see his family and friends. They came to him.

Neil: Aap log yahan kya kar rahe hain? Yahan khatra ho sakta hai.

Shweta: hum se raha nahi gaya.

Bee ji: kuch nahi hota.

Neil made a face. They heard the sound of opening the door and the Mehta family came out except Avni and Neela maa. Neil noticed that.

Neil: Aap sab theek hain?

Ashish nodded.

Ashish: Han, hum sab theek hain.

Neil: aap ne ghar ko check kiya hai koi hai to nahi?

Ashish: Han hum ne niche check kiya hai. Niche koi nahi hai upar terrace check karna rehta hai.

Neil was shocked. Neil saw Avni and Neela maa still didn't come.

Neil: Avni aur Aunty kahan hain?

Ashish: Avni apne room main hai. Neela bhi us ke sath hai.

Neil was relieved.

Person: Avni, apne kamre main nahi hai.

Neil looked behind the Mehta family and the Mehta family turned. They saw Neela maa. Neela maa came to them hurriedly.

Nm: Avni, apne room main nahi hai.

Neil was shocked.

Nm: shayad Terrace per ho. Avni aksar raat ko terrace per jati hai.

Neil and others were shocked. They heard the sound of falling something from the terrace and everyone was shocked.

Neil: Avni.

Everyone looked at Neil. Neil ran to the terrace from the stairs those are outside. Everyone ran behind Neil. Neil reached the terrace and he was shocked to see the view in front of his eyes.
