"Yond's a most wondrous idea! wherefore we not has't ibiki starteth cooking?" Celeste replies
"Alright then... " Ibiki sighed.
"Wait did she say something? " Hiwatari asks.
"Don't question it, let's come on down! We should have some spare cookies left! " Kaori drags Hiwatari down to the long table.
Hiwatari takes a seat next to Shimu. "It's loud here. " She says quietly.
"You think so? " Shimu speaks nervously.
"I'm sure I'll get used to it though. " Hiwatari goes to grab an orange. She begins to eat it.
"This doesn't taste like an orange! "
"I had one yesterday, maybe it's no good now. " Kuma says
"Say, Hiwatari, what species are you even? " Yumeko asks, drink in hand.
"I think I'm a vampire now... " She replies, uncertain.
"Then no shit, you need blood! "
"Luckily there's some blood pouches in the back id the fridge, they're aged like 200 years though, or something like that. " Nene replies.
"Why would we have blood pouches? " Pekona asks.
"We used to have another vampire here, pretty sure he was assassinated though. "
"Oh, that's a shame. "
"Hey everyone! " Kaori shouts. "I brought in more alcohol! "
"Fucking finally. " Ibiki says while she's cooking a supper.
"You're a robot, how can you taste alcohol? " Hiwatari asks.
"I mix the liquor in with oil, simple as that. "
"So maybe you can mix alcohol with blood! " Nene says, holding a wine bottle and a blood pouch.
"Eh? "
"What? Don't tell me you're one of those 'alcoholism'a sin' people! "
"No, it's not that, it's that I'm literally 14 years old. "
"Oh! Yeah in that case I hope you didn't have any alcohol to drink. "
"That should've been obvious. " Yumeko states.
"Heh." Hiwatari comes to the kitchen and gets herself a glass of the aged blood.
"It's worth a shot. " Hiwatari sips on the blood...
'It tastes... So bad... '
"Oh dear. " Yumeko says.
Hiwatari spits out saliva, thinking she's spitting out the blood. "I swallowed it, didn't I? "
Conversation stirs the dining room. Hiwatari walks to one of the chairs again, next to Shimu and Nakano; Scarlet sat across from them.
"Come to think of it, who's paying for all of this? "
"Good question. " Scarlet mumbles.
"Yeah, who is paying? " Shimu replies quietly.
"Wait, you guys don't know either? "
They both shake their heads
"Oh yeah! It's Nene's former boss if I remember correctly! " Nakano says
"WHO? " They all turn to Nakano
"You guys never saw her? She was the one who brought me here, the details are blurry though... "
"Can you tell us what she looks like, or what kind of person she is? "
"Hmm, she's pretty tall... I don't remember her species, she seemed pretty mature. She also stays in th3 basement... "
"THERE'S A BASEMENT??? "
"You guys didn't know that either? "
"What else is there? A garden on the roof? " Eve says sarcastically.
"There used to be one, I think I saw a photo of it... If you wanna know morr about Mom, just ask Nene. "
"MOM? "
"She's kinda like a mom to me, even though I haven't seen her in 20 years... "
"What kind of mom does that? " Hiwatari says.
"I don't actually remember my mom, so it's close enough. " She continues to eat her food.
"Huh, hey Nene? "
"Yes??" Nene comes back to the dining room from the kitchen.
"What was your boss like? "
"Ouhhhh, we don't talk about that! "
"Huh? "
"But what we do talk about is how there's been some weird noises in my storage room. "
"Maybe an animal got in? " Hiwatari responds.
"Yeah what else could it be? " Scarlet replies rudely.
"I guess, but it's worth a check right? "
"Mhm."
Nene and Hiwatari leave the dining room to go to this "storage room". What could that noise be?
