Back at the Kasuga residence, people were discussing what they did know about the war.
"Apparently the goal is.... I still don't know. " Kuma states.
"Strange, I only just got here and by now all of this has already happened." Hiwatari sighed.
"That reminds me, we should probably get ya a room eh? " Kaori said to Hiwatari.
"True." She stood up waiting for Kaori to stand as well.
"Come on!" She took Hiwatari ny her wrist and ran towards one of the rooms. Hiwatari was actually not struggling to catch up, with surprised her.
'Is this what being a vampire has to offer? '
Eventually they get to a door in a remote part of the mansion. Kaori walks towards it and opens the doorx revealing that the light was on the entire time.
"Is this my room? "
"No, this is the closet. I suggest you get some better clothes here unless you wanna walk around like a ghost forever. "
Hiwatari was indeed in her burial clothes the entire time. "This'll be useful. " She walked in the room while Kaori shut her in.The room was massive, it contained a machine inside of it.
It read: "Ibuki: Clothing Helper 5000, created by Kuma"
"Kuma made this? Did she also make Ibiki? Hm, she must be pretty smart. "
She walked up to Ibuki and looked at the screen, it said to first choose what size you were. After that it said to choose your desired style, then choose some other options.
Eventually an outfit was displayed on the screen, asking if Hiwatari liked it. It was a cut-sleeved button up with a brown handkerchief and suspenders that went to the shorts, as well as some translucent leggings and brown shoes.
"Hm? " Hiwatari realized something. She used to have this exact outfit in the second world, she found it in a dumpster. She decided to click 'comfirm'.
"This machine... What was it... Ibuki, it's pretty cool huh? "
Ibuki began to make some noise, it was pretty loud, almost to an annoying degree. But after about 20 seconds, the clothing was dispensed. She took off her burial robe and looked in the mirror. She realized she got small, tiny, vampire-like wings. She also looked at the new shirt she got and realized there was a small spot for her wings to be exposed in the back. It's almost scary how accurate it is.
Hiwatari at the moment still had the tenkan on.
"Hm." Oddly enough, Hiwatari thought the tenkan actually suited the outfit. "I guess ill leave it on.
After changing clothes, she opened the door to see Kaori waiting. "Hey! You look pretty good in that! "
"Heh, thanks.. "
"No problem, but look at this."
"At what? "
Kaori pointed to a letter taped to the wall.
"What's that? "
Kaori, using her height, grabbed the letter taped to the wall as a bird watched. She began to read aloud.
"Dear shitty 1st world refugee hangout... Rude.
I hope this letter finds you in good health. Here we come to inform you of why we are fighting. Please keep this letter on the DL from commander Toyasumi. We are fighting because there is a world destroyer, planning on destroying the second world. They are very strong, so strong that our undefeated military doesn't stand a chance, so Toyasumi wanted the population to flee here, by getting rid of the nonbelievers here. But I have been spying on you all for a little it and it makes me wonder if we add you guys to our team that we can keep both worlds. There's dragons, dragonslayers in ethereal bodies, superior lifeforms and near-gods over there. I believe that they can't stop all of us. I want you guys, so we can stop fighting before anything even starts.
-Flora"
"I see, that clears up some things a bit. " Hiwatari stated. "
"Damn right! I'll go tell the others! " Kaori runs off with the letter.
"So much for finding my room, I guess. " Hiwatari states. Suddenly, she felt a paper that touched her head.
"Hm? " it was a smaller paper addressed to specifically Hiwatari.
She turned it over and read what it said:
Hiwatari, I want you to sleep without interruptions tonight, I want you to communicate with death.
"What the— communicate with death? Is someone trying to kill me... Again? "
The letter continued:
Whatever you do, do not tell anyone about this letter.
"Strange... Should I follow it? Who sent it? Who's death? " Hiwatari was left with more questions than answers.
She looked around, tired of the events of today, and unsure of what to do. She looked around for an vacant room nearby the 'closet' room.
She walked in, the room was dark, just as she would need. It was still the morning, but vampires are nocturnal. She laid down on the mattress.
"Just a quick nap. "
Soon enough, she went to sleep.
In a long, big, dark hallway with a light at the end of it, it showed a silhouette of a girl by a podium. What kind of dream was this?
