Avy sat in her office chair, swiveling round and round. She was bored and hungry. It was 11am, and she had gotten used to eating those fruits now. She rolled her chair to the middle to look at Anay, who sat in the office, working busily. She waved her arms around to catch his attention, grinning wide. Sahil rolled his eyes at her and continued his work.
"Avyanna! Did you email the copies?" Her coworker, Roshini asked.
"I did! Proof read them too. They can go online!" She nodded.
"Nothing to do now?" She asked.
"I do... But I'm bored." Avy nodded.
"Madam. Eat." Bhannu anna said, handing her a bowl of papaya and pineapple. She scrunched her face up at the smell. She waved her arm around again, waiting for Anay to look at her.
Anay looked up when Bhannu anna walked into his office after knocking. He smiled at him, and looked back when he saw Avyanna shaking her arms around, and grinning trying to get his attention. He nodded his head up, raising his brow up in question. She pointed at herself and then at him.
"Come." He mouthed, nodding. She grinned, shooting out of her seat and rushing into his office.
"What?" He asked, as soon as she sat down in front of him.
"I'm bored." She said.
"Office mei bore hota hai koyi? Where are the rest of the write ups?" He asked.
"Roshini is proof reading the rest. Karli maine kaam!" She whined.
"Toh ab kya karna hai? Mera sarr khaana hai?" He asked.
"Nahi. You're going out to meet a vendor no? Will you take me with you?" She asked, smiling sneakily at him.
"How do you know?" He raised a brow at her.
"I asked Rachna for your schedule." She grinned.
"That's invasion of my privacy." He huffed.
"No it isn't. It's your work schedule. And I work with you. Anyway, please! Please please please? I won't do anything out of line. I'll just shut up and watch. I really want to know how you speak to these small business people and how you bring those stories to us for writing! Please sir!" She begged.
"Fine." He sighed.
"You're the best boss I've ever had." She grinned.
"Mhm. Bag pack Karo. Bring a notebook... Laptops and all don't do justice. Haath se likhna start Karo pehele toh. Carry water, a snack... A recorder too... Ruko, mai deta hoon... Your ID... Aur..." He continued talking, pulling a recorder out of his drawer and handing it to her.
"Aisa lag raha hai jaise mai school ki picnic pe jaarahi hoon." She giggled, poking the pineapple in her bowl with a fork.
"Tumhare saath sab kuch aisa hi hota hai." He muttered, pushing away all the pineapple pieces with his fork. There was a knock on the door, and Sahil walked in along with another guy, Ajith.
"Sir." He grinned, making Anay chuckle.
"Boliye, Sahil ji!" Anay said.
"Iske liye approval chahiye. Ajith and I want to propose this AV advertisement for Ahem Group!" He said, sitting down in the empty chair.
"For their website? Or do you want to run these as sponsored ads?" Anay asked, looking at the papers.
"Both..." Ajith said.
"Let's set up a meeting EOD with all the team leads and... Who's in-charge for Ahem?" Anay asked.
"Dimple ma'am." Sahil said.
