Work was hardly a task if it was what one loved to do. That's what work at Avid was like. It was happy. It was teaching. It was experiencing. It was expressing. Avy walked into the board room, the literal board room where the ceiling and walls were made of white board. She sat down on the floor and grabbed a marker to play around. She had no work till Anay came, and Anay was missing in action. It was already 11am. And she really liked this meeting room, it was her favourite place at the moment.

She doodled around while listening to an interview she had taken a few days ago, trying to get a nice story out of it. Her headphones were heavy on her head, and music blared out. She felt anxious for some reason. Her heart was thumping. She suddenly saw a bowl of watermelon being held up in front of her face. She grinned, looking up at the famous Bannu anna.

"Thank you Anna!" She gave him her best smile. He snorted, handing it off to her and walking away.

"Avyanna. Sir is here. He called for a meeting in the other meeting room." One of her coworkers poked her head through the door and said.

"I'm coming!" She said, eating up the rest of her watermelon and rushing out quickly. She put the bowl away and walked into the office where the rest were already gathered.

"You're late." Was the first thing she heard. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise when she felt that annoyance radiate in his tone.

"I'm sorry..." She said, her eyes were still wide.

"Sit." He spat. She pulled out the chair and plopped down in it.

"Uhhhh okay." She frowned. He didn't even look up at her.

"We've got a new client. It's a luxury brand... So they're really important. They had an in-house marketing department till now... But it didn't work out for them, so they're handing over their entire branding and marketing to us. We'll have a big meeting on Thursday with the team. Let's do it in our office. Let them see how we work and our team and everything. It's a huge deal, let's do our best. Avyanna, Susan aur Ritesh, you'll be responsible for the hosting. I want you guys to spend the rest of the week coming up with marketing campaigns and branding strategies that we can use." He said.

"Yes sir." Ritesh nodded.

"Avy.... Anna..." He went from her nickname to her full one, realising that they were in a meeting. Her lips curled up the slightest bit.

"Yes sir?" She grinned at him. He still wasn't looking at her.

"Study Antheria's social media, their creatives and brand as a while... I want you to make me a report. I'll need it by EOD." He said. She nodded.

"So... Uh... What will we do with that?" She asked hesitantly. She realised that she won't learn if she didn't ask questions. Susan and Ritesh looked like they wanted to laugh at her question. Anay looked up, and finally at her. And his features softened immediately. The other two just sat there, but this girl, she was making notes. Her question was so genuine.

"We'll study their patterns, their designs... They failed in their marketing, had a few controversial things as well. The only way you can turn a mistake or a wrong around is by getting down deep and dirty and understanding every angle of it. Right? You can't change what you don't know. You'll be incharge for this project from here on." He said. Her eyes widened again in surprise.

"Really?" She gasped.

"Really." He nodded.

"But... But what about writing stories and telling stories and meeting vendors with you?" She muttered. She resembled a little puppy, and all he wanted to do was touch her sweet little face and turn that frown upside down.
