I like to think that everybody has their purpose in high School. For example, my friend James is the best I've ever seen on the track and his girlfriend Macy is pretty damn good at all of the art stuff. She basically lives in the art room. One time she sketched out a picture of my best friend, Ben and I in twenty minutes. Ben and I have known each other since we were six. Our parents are college friends and we kind of just found each other in the neighborhood. That's right. College friends who moved next door to each other and had kids the same exact year. Our parents are weird... As I was saying about Macy, you may think that it was a shitty sketch, but let me tell you that this was no eight year old art project, oh no it wasn't. This was a true artists work, so much so that the sketch was put on display in an art show at the mall. This is a purpose.

Everyday I hear, "What is this place for?" high school I mean. Don't worry I don't like school, I just believe this...

High School is like a place where you go to find what your good at. Every class room has something different you can join like Chamber Choir or The Chess Club. Open the door, open a new lifestyle.

I don't even know why I wrote that in italics. I guess I want it to stand out or to look important. What can I say, I am just awkward and weird like that...

Anyways, what I am saying is that high school has millions of doors you can open for new opportunities. Literally! Have you ever seen a high school? It's huge! When I was a freshman, I got lost for the first three weeks. There's so many doors for so many people and so many opportunities to think big. Ben always tells me to think big. To think of a bigger life. I wonder what I would do in my bigger life. I'm not sure yet.

Before I make this book even more boring than it is, let me introduce myself to the world. My name is Cameron Evens and I am a senior in high school. Be prepared to read how high school ruined and improved my life. Yes, two opposites at the same time, and yes, IT'S POSSIBLE! I've experienced it all. You know, the normal teenager stuff that happens once you leave the building that wreaks havoc on you every single day. To be clear, that building would be middle school. Some of those normal teenage things that occur as you step foot into the magical world of high school where body odor is the capital is that you shall see most junior and especially senior couples practically eating each other alive against your locker. Yeah. Having lockers next to other grades may not be so fun after all.

Freshman Year of high school - First Day - Cameron Evens ft. Skunk Bag

Me: [finally finds locker] Finally! [walks up to locker 203 and notices that a senior is your locker buddy] Oh hey! I'm new. What grade are you in? [asks with a smile trying not to make anything more awkward than it is.]

Senior Girl: [looks over in disgust. Probably a popular. She wears high waist-ed jeans, a crop top, and makeup that looks like a clown did it.] Senior, you freak... Don't be a child or 'Freshman Friday' will be a real thing.

Me: [acts confused and ignores her. Then whispers] Okay then...

[Soon her boyfriend appears.] (I don't know who would want to date that skunk bag...) [The guy pins her against her locker engulfing her face while I try not to puke. Soon the movement is so intense that my locker is shut by the public couple going all out in my space.] 'Yay high school!'

Passing Teacher: [holds up a detention slip, looks angry] No PDA! [Gives me a smile as it was his pleasure to save me from being run over by them and continues walking.]

Confusing yet? Just wait. You're about to read the most bizarre situations ever. God, what am I doing with my life?
