" Kaari please go in the kitchen with that applesauce" I said to bad ass Kaari. I don't know what was her problem today, but miss mamas been trying me all damn day.
" Hey Nikki" I said answering my ringing phone for my lawyer who was also my cousin.
" Hey AJ— is everything good" I asked becoming concerned, being that we just had our first court date for the whole adoption process yesterday, and we were waiting on the judge to get back to Nikki.
" Yes everything is fine, but I just got off the phone with judge Jones, and she wanted to know how soon can you guys start the moving process with Jy'Rah" She asked causing me to sigh in relief.
" We can start soon as possible, but have you talked to Eric— Yes I called him before I call you and he said the same thing" She said back as shook my head in understanding.
" Okay I call Jy'Rah and have her start packing as much as she can over the weekend and we'll start moving her things in Monday" I said making a mental note to call Jy'Rah.
"Okay sounds great, also judge Jones said there will be an evaluation a month or so after Jy'Rah has moved in— When she gives me the date I will let you and Ja know, also I'll come by a few days before to do the evaluation and check off everything for you guys" Nikki said and I responded with an okay and we ended the call.
