We went to the casino and played blackjack and quarter slots. Jane won 23, 450.25 on the slots . Dorothy won 13 ,419.00 on the quarters. Julianne and I lost over a grand on the slots. We all did well on black Jack . Jane and Dorothy were the only one who would have to pay taxes on the winnings. We finally made it back and took another shower and washed our hair because we all came back smelling like smoke from all the smokers.  We towel dried our head and laid in our rooms watching TV before we all fell asleep.  The following morning we packed our bags ate breakfast downstairs and left for our homes.

Maura I am going to go get my truck gassed up now so u don't have to do it tomorrow. I will pick up some burgers,fries and milkshakes from the Dirty Robber. I will unpack and do some laundry while your gone. 

Jane left. I unpacked a three of our bags,  sorted the dirty laundry from tahoe and laundry from the house. I was transferring the clothes from the washer to the dryer and hanging our bras and my panties to dry when Julianne calls me on the landline to get to kaiser. Jane was rear ended and is unconscious with broken arm. I gathered my purse and keys and rushed out turning the alarm on and locking the interior door. I unlatched the garage door and got into my massarrati and left for kaiser. Jane doesn't have kaiser insurance but that is where they took her per baby girl. I arrived and it was station 15 that responded.  Casey. Sylvie, Peter. Emily and Joey didn't work today but all the family with their spouses  or boyfriend/ girlfriend were  there.

How did this happen? Maura the responding officer said the driver got a flat in the two front tires and when he hit the brakes to stop they worked but the tires didn't have enough friction of the weight to stop it. I want to see her. They will only allow immediate family which are my uncles and me only. This is rubbish. Why was she brought here? She doesn't have kaiser.  This was the next hospital on the ambulances rotation. Its a new system the ambulance companies have established. The Fire department has been fighting this. There are two good things. One I am a doctor who can get in to see her as a professional courtesy. The second money will help make the changes but first Jane is my priority so excuse me.  

Hello my name is Dr. Maura Isles I would like to see my patient.

I noticed she started to itch so she took out her epi pen and injected into her leg and said ouch than took her pill to counter it . I handed my sister a bottle of water I was drinking and she took a sip and thanked me. They told her what room she was in.

Baby girl go with her. She will need you just in case she gets oozing.  Okay Katelyn. I immediately followed Maura and held her hand.

I am guessing Katelyn told you. Yes.

We entered Jane's room and was hooked up to an oxygen respirator that was helping her breathe. I read hee chart and put it back on the table where the nurse momentarily left it to respond to another patient in another room . I sat next to her when the nurse returned. She said hello and left with her chart.

Maura what did the chart say? She is unconscious because of the impact of the pain. She will be okay. Thank you God. Thanks they didn't tell us much. Are you okay now? I  am getting better.  You had a reaction and needed the epi why?    When I lie,  I break out in hives. Sometimes it can get real bad like it was getting. I am not your mother's doctor but will be when she wakes up and has them input it in the system and write it on her chart and the dry erase board. For now it's Dr. Greeier. I thought I lost her.  I don't want this to be a together again situation. Maura I  don't either. I see how she is around you. We all have noticed it. You being a relative or not. She hasn't been this happy in a long time. Thank you. I feel the same in regards to happiness.

Ddddddoc. Hey babe  don't talk. You have been in accident.  Water please. 

Maura pours her some and tells her to sip it which she does. She smiles at us both.

Mom you need to make Maura your doctor on record so she can stop lying.  Baby girl please go get the nurse and inform her she is awake.  Okay! I will change it. Epi pen used. Yes. Nurse Fletcher came back in. How you feeling? Pain. It's from the impact.  No whip plash but a broken leg and Abrasions. I want Dr. Maura Isles as my doctor on record. We will contact her. Nurse Fletcher I am Dr. Isles.  I am sorry.  May I borrow your stethoscope? Yes here it is.  I will change it on her chart and the computer, but he is still her doctor for this incident. Thank you. Thank you for letting me use your stethoscope. You're.  I will let your other doctor know you are awake and talking.  I'm hungry too.  Baby girl please go get us two turkey burgers with 🥑 slices, cheese,  onions, mushrooms,  a little mayo and mustard fries with ketchup and one chocolate and one strawberry milk shake. I was on my way to buy doc and I lunch. Okay mom.
I will call in the order and pick it up  Thank you. Thank you.
Hee doctor from kaiser came in. He checked me over and asked me questions.  Maura informed him she wanted me transferred to Mercy hospital, since I  didn't have kaiser.  He said he would after I identified myself her primary doctor. He informed us  it would take a few hours. I looked and sounded good. He left to tell the nurse to transfer to Mercy asap. Jane I heard you were here so u came to see you. Hello Dr. Isles.  Hello Dr. Ashford.  Hi TJ.  I hope you enjoyed your stay here.  I don't really know. I barely woke up. Are you hungry? Yes my daughter went to get our lunch. I am leaving you in good hands.  Yes she is good with her hands. Jane behave. It's okay.

Tj left and we talked. Tommy and Frankie came in.

Tommy and I are glad your awake as many others.  Please  tell them thank you and go home.  Baby girl left to get some food from my place.  Yes I was on my way there when I got rear ended. Was the other driver OK? Yes a little sore bruised from the air bag and cuts on his face from the windshield.  Sis Frankie said it wasn't your fault. When are you being transferred? Once the paramedics come and get me. Since we know Maura, Dorothy and baby girl are here ,we are leaving. Love you. Love you. Tommy and Frankie thanks for coming. Your welcome.

We ate and drank our milkshakes. Dorothy and  baby girl left.  I was finally being transfered after 4.
