Today was our first Valentine's day as a couple. Jane and I decide to stay home at it was just us. We had already eaten breakfast and lunch.
During lunch, I sent Jane these and flowers.

I made special chocolate strawberries myself. We drank the champagne for breakfast with yogurt for breakfast. I made made chorizo, eggs beans, with red potatoes with the skin on them with onions and cilantro and I asked Mario and Courtney to make me a dozen of tortillas which they gladly did for lunch. It was dinner time and I still didn't know what Jane was doing. She told me to stay in my office. I could smell she was cooking and it smelled delicious. I recognized the aroma of Spanish rice and beans she had made last night in the crock pot while we slept. I didn't know she got up after we fell asleep. I smelled them this morning when they were done. I used some of the beans already.

I made Spanish rice again, used the beans add mashed them up and made carnitas tacos. Don't worry they are not well for us. I just wanted you to see the arrangement. Babe thank you. We try not to spend too much money. I love my engraved box with poker chips and everything else you did for us for breakfast and lunch. Courtney is coming over to get some for her and Mario and her as well as baby girl and Dorothy. They just picking them up and leaving. I have extra meat too so we can have some of the carne asada meat for breakfast.

Maur opens the door and the three of them are their with the containers. Wow you did a good presentation mom and the poker chips were nice. Hint hunt. Babe no you won't get poker chips even if you veg. This was Maura's idea for you mom. It's bad enough several of you guys have golf bags and licenses and frames. Thank you Maura. You did good and you impress me Jane. Thanks Mario. Okay get your tacos and leave I want Maura only to myself for dinner. J don't be rude.
The three of them laugh and say it was okay and they understood. Jane apologizes. They each take what they want after I remove ours and get ready to leave.

We hug them and Maura walks them to the door so I can finish plating our food. I hear the alarm turned back on and Maura returns seeing me in red sports bra with white boxers with red hearts on standing up with one long stem rose for her. I have a pitcher of cold sangria poured for us in chilled glasses.
J you outdid yourself. Thank you. My queen this is for you. No kissing right now or the food will get warm and the sangria. Yes babe.
Jane pulls out my chair and I sit down and then she pushes the chair and gives me kiss on the top of of my head and sits down. I laugh because she says no kissing . She states she lied. We both eat and drink our food.
Jane the food was delicious and you cleaned as you cooked. Yes because I did not want wait . This way we just have to put the food away and wash minimal. I want actual dessert as you do after we let our good digest some. Okay babe.
