RECAP; "What are you staring at huh Yamino?"
She huffed out, coughing away the slight awkward tone in her voice.
I smiled, getting up from the floor and bending slightly downwards over her. My hands resting on my knees as my face was now at the same level as hers.
"At you, and only you."
PRESENT; @ classroom Your POV
"Please remember there is homework due tomorrow, alright?" Our teacher reminded painstakingly for about the fourth time during this entire lesson.
Rolling my eyes, i huffed into my palm. Feeling instantly anxious at the thought of homework. His homework.
And just when I thought I could have some quiet time to think, my teacher points at me. "Especially you Sizuma Y/n! Just because you do well doesn't mean you can ignore the assignments due. College isn't going to just look at your grades."
Ugh tell me something new...
"Yes yes teacher." Not even looking up at my teacher, but I knew that he was not enjoying our conversation.
"Sizuma, you have to understand, I am trying to help you right now. Along with your classmates, especially Shu, who has had to chase for you to come to class."
Waving my teacher off, i could see him trying to calm himself down from my lackluster response. Letting out a final sigh, he lets his hand fall down to his side, back slightly arched in defeat as he points at the door. "You guys are dismissed, get out."
Hearing our teacher's tired words, some students chuckled, others started talking to their friends while packing their bags. The atmosphere was especially bright since it was lunch time now. However, the bright and noisy classroom didn't contrast well with my thoughts.
It's time, its time, ITS TIME.
*SLAM*
My hands landed on my desk, with the weight of my frustrations, the sound rang loudly in the room. My classmates all looked over, silence came over the previously noisy class. But I didn't have time to care, that's because I-
"Sizuma san!"
It's too late
Looking up at the sound of his voice, I watched as our class president came up to my desk, his lunchbox in hand as he gave me a small smile. "Ready to go to lunch together?"
