"He cares for you."

Jimin jumped when he heard the soft voice. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even notice Jungkook was awake and now standing behind him.

"You're awake."

His boyfriend nodded. "It was hard to sleep when there's so much yelling going on outside."

"You heard that."

"The entire corridor would have heard it." He exhaled and went to sit on the couch before patting the vacant spot beside him. "Your dad isn't like mine."

Jimin scoffed. "You have no idea."

"He came for you."

Jimin simply shrugged. His dad was never around much when he grew up. Even then their interactions were always limited to work or academics. He didn't remember a time he had a heart to heart with his dad. So this conversation still left him reeling. He never thought his father had this side to him.

"You should talk to him," Jungkook insisted. "He sounded mad but not that mad."

Jimin's shoulders slumped. "I don't know," he admitted. "It's surprising. This is the lengthiest conversation we had outside of our meeting rooms."

"Looks like you hit a nerve."

"I did."

Jungkook hummed. "It may not be my place to say, but talk to him, Jimin. At least, you have a dad, who wants you back." With that, his boyfriend stood, disappearing into the bathroom, leaving Jimin to his thoughts.
