Chapter 3 ~ Well Shit

The next day I was at Arcadia Oaks High with Kirili walking beside me. We were walking through the halls making conversation "sooooo?" Kirili began "what have you decided to do?"

I let out a huff of air "that if any one finds out what happened inside my house last night we will both be going to a psych ward." I state matter-of-factly.

"I was actually talking about messing up Steve but yeah that works too." She confesses.

"Come on Kirili. Just give it up already." I say, slightly annoyed about her nagging me about beating up Steve.

She signs annoyedly then looks at the shining blue amulet in my bag "does this thing run on batteries or something because that's weird." She points out the amulet that was glowing in my bag. "What's it doing?"

I pull it out of my bag and hold it in my hand observing it glow "how would I know. It didn't come with some sort of manual!" I state somewhat freaking out.

"Does it feel like you're gonna...." Kirili began to trail off "y'know, change?"

"Oh no..." I say panicking what the hell do I do I can't be at school in armour.

"We gotta hide you! Like now!" Kirili said, panicking with me, she was looking around the room for any place to hide me. And then It was like a light bulb went off in her mind when she spotted the door. Oh great.

She began to push me towards the door I was trying to resist but ultimately failed and got pushed into the janitor's closet. This is just awesome. Once the door is fully closed behind us a bright light fills the room once the light dies down I'm covered in the silver armour.

"I still can't get over how sick that is." Kirili states happily.

"Yeah but like why did this happen?" I say annoyed but the amulets sudden outburst.

Unexpectedly I hear the voice of Mr Strickler "Amber? Amber, are you in here?

"Keep him out of here!" I whispered yelled to Kirili"

"What do you expect me to do?" She asked worriedly.

"Just go! I'll try hiding somewhere." I say pushing her towards the door.

"Fine." She muttered teeth clenched approaching the door.

I looked around the room and tried to see if I could hide anywhere there was a small corner I could stand behind but that was the best I could get.

"Oh hey Mr Strickler!" I heard Kirili's voice as she tried starting up a conversation with the teacher.

"Ah, Kirili. Have you seen Amber? I believe she came in here." He said asking Kirili about me

"Amber? Um yeah she's just doing something important. Should probably be left alone y'know how it is-" she said trying to improve but was interrupted when Strickler turned the corner to see me standing there in a full suit of silver armour. I had to think of an idea quickly.

"Amber. I do not believe that's appropriate school attire, Do you?" He asked, seeming confused about the silver armour on my body.

"Oh this! Yeah well funny story actually. You see it's actually for... my fashion design class!" I state improvising, well I did have a fashion design class and this could actually be very useful for it. What is this armour even made out of?

"Yeah, it's for a project she's doing." Kirili said, backing me up.

"Yes, for a fashion project based on medieval times." I say, kind of explaining the project. Holy shit I forgot about that project.

"She's gonna get an A on that project! I mean like look at this stuff. It's almost like she took it directly out of the history books." Kirili said helping me out on convincing Strickler while I internally freaked out about my fashion design project.
