Mondstadt - A remote street in the city of freedom

Aether became really close with one of the knights, Kaeya Alberich, to be precise, and I didn't like the interaction between the two of them at all.

It was obvious that he wasn't looking for a healthy relationship, that's what I concluded when I saw his actions.

I didn't expect Aether to accept his invitation and even see him so close to Kaeya...

Later that night, they decided to go to the tavern together, but they didn't know that I was watching, taking notes of every movement, conversation or detail that happened and I observed.

A few hours passed, as I watched them in the distance from one of the windows, I saw Kaeya, already drunk, putting his arm around Aether's shoulders, practically hugging him as she sang ballads along with the bard inside the tavern.

My eyes widened and one of my eyes unconsciously twitched and I broke one of my pencils as I was taking my last notes. I felt this anger, jealousy, and urge to not have him touch anyone and make him only mine that I couldn't control.

Poor him, he didn't know what was going to happen to him.

March 13, 1:45 AM. That was the exact date when I couldn't take it anymore.

Considering that Kaeya had to work the next day, he decided to leave the tavern at the same time as the Traveler and accompany him to the strategic place where he left his "Serenitea Pot", a unique gift he received from an adeptus in Liyue.

With a warm smile, he said goodbye to him as if he wanted him to realize his feelings and started to walk away as soon as Aether teleported into it.

In a matter of seconds, I began to follow him and get closer and closer to him.

My blood was boiling and I could no longer stand to see him close to me like that. I was slowly losing my mind, not realizing how my vision was blurring as I got closer and closer to his figure.

He became aware of my presence, as he felt light footsteps behind him and turned around quickly. A pity and a disappointment on my part for letting myself be discovered so quickly.

- Kaeya: "Oh, Albedo. What are you doing in Mondstadt at this hour? ¿Need help with something?"

- Albedo: "Greetings, Kaeya. Actually yes, thanks for asking. (Yes...I need help with getting rid of you so Aether can be mine alone...)" I said, with a mask that hid my atrocious thoughts and future actions.

Hopefully he could stand up and stop wobbling from side to side. How many drinks must he have had without me counting them as I took notes?

I wasn't sure how fast his alcohol got high despite how often he drank each week.

- Albedo: "I need help with testing one of my newest experiments, and I knew you would be in town at this late hour of the night. I must be lucky to have decided to stay awake longer."

- Kaeya: "Hahaha, our noble and loved alchemist, always with your curious and unparalleled experiments. Sure, I'll help you with whatever you need, only if in return you give me what I want."

A shudder ran through my body, such that it became visible to see me tremble for this very reason, but I did not hesitate to ask what it was that he wanted.

He shook his head as he said:

- Kaeya: "No, no. I'm not going to directly say what I want. ¡That would ruin all the fun!"

Kaeya moved closer to me until our bodies were almost together and lifted my chin to get a clearer view of my pale face. Without, it seemed, any awareness of where he was doing, he moved closer to my ear and did not hesitate to whisper in my ear.

- Kaeya: "You're smart enough to guess what I want from you, dear...."

A face of considerable displeasure because of the proximity and the situation formed on my face out of nowhere. I knew what I was there for and I didn't want to waste too much time or risk anyone seeing us on that street.

- Albedo: "(I know you always go after everything to satisfy any kind of need you have and you won't give up until you get it. Especially when it comes to my presence on the plate....)"

That's what I thought at that moment. He was very sure about what he wanted from me and I was not going to satisfy him and give him everything in his hands like a little kid.

I removed his hand from my chin and took a few steps back to separate our bodies to a more acceptable distance.

- Albedo: "All right, all right, I'll see what I can do about your request. For the time being, fulfill mine since you are willing to do so."

I grabbed him by the wrist tightly and took him to my house, where I had my personal laboratory and everything ready for my "experiment".

Kaeya made no complaints about how tightly I gripped his arm the whole way. I knew it hurt, as I could tell by him making some unpleasant movements.

I guess he knew that since he had agreed to one of his dirty deals, he had better keep quiet and not say anything, because he already knew how it would all end.

In a few minutes we arrived at the doorway of my house, as it was only a few minutes away from where Aether's "Serenitea Pot" was located.

I took my keys out of my pocket and opened the door. I immediately took Kaeya into my living room and let go of his wrist once and for all, as I could already tell that he would have no escape from being in my house.

I had to be 100% sure that he could not get out and lock the door.

Before I could go to the door to lock it all the way, Kaeya suddenly made me turn my vision towards him.

- Kaeya: "Finally, freedom! Do you trust me so little that you thought I wouldn't come with you and keep my word? I did not expect such manners from you, knowing how well we know each other."

- Albedo: "(I have my reasons to have grabbed you by the wrist in such a way, you shouldn't be drawing conclusions from me so quickly, Mr. Alberich...)" I thought and remained silent for a few seconds.

I turned my gaze to then walk towards the door, which he didn't hesitate to take advantage of to let out a warning again.

- Kaeya: "Kreideprinz, answer me~." He said with a smile that was a bit unpleasant for me since I did not want to answer such a question.

- Albedo: "I trust you just enough, as with every citizen of this nation and any other. Don't you think it would be common sense for me not to trust any word or action you do when you are like this, as you are now? Don't make me laugh. I grabbed you by the wrist as well because I knew that if I let go of you, either one, you would go anywhere else and forget what you said, or two, you would fall down because of what little ability you now have to stand straight with that level of alcohol in your blood. I think I made myself clear enough in explaining, didn't I, Kaeya?"

I started walking towards the door, while Kaeya turned his gaze to the nearest window from his position and watched the view I had towards Dragonspine as he kept silent, trying to process what I had told him and not to disturb while I finished closing. That silence was music for my ears.
