"This is for you guys," Taehyung grinned as he handed two small paper bags to Hoseok and Jimin, "Some souvenirs from Jeju."

Jimin looked into it excitedly, happy to receive some gifts, "Oh, it's so cute. Thank you so much."

Hoseok too giggled excitedly, "It's such a pity we didn't get to meet during the vacation but how was Jeju island anyway? The pictures looked great."

The three were standing at their shoe lockers, ready to head home after the first day back from a very boring but interesting summer break.

"Ah it was amazing but it was too hot, felt like I was going to die. Pretty sure I saw some celebrities around too but I didn't really go and seek them out."

"Ah, amazing. Me and Jimin went to the beach with our boyfriends, so that was really good too." Hoseok giggled as he looked at Jimin.

The break was indeed long but it almost felt like a blink of an eye that they were back at school. And, in the end, Jimin never met Jungkook once after the day on the beach.

It didn't mean much to Jimin, afterall, they were not obliged to meet each other but Jimin hadn't seen him today around school either.

That was weird.

Usually the brooding boy appeared in front of him right when it was time to head home, but today there was no sight of him.

It was as if his two friends too were thinking of the same thing because Hoseok suddenly asked.

"Come to think of it, have you seen Jeon Jungkook today? I didn't see him at lunch."

Jimin just shook his head, "No, I haven't seen him today either."

The two nodded, waving at him as they walked outside the school building while he decided to wait around for Jin to leave his class, so he could ask more about Jungkook.

When Jin came out, he was carrying an envelope in his hand, not expecting to be greeted by Jimin waving at him.

"Hey," Jimin said as soon as his best friend reached him, "I haven't seen Jungkook at all today. Did he never leave the classroom?" He asked, a little concerned.

Jin just shook his head, "He never came to school today."

Jimin frowned, "But it's the first day back from summer break. So why wouldn't he come to school?"

Jin just shrugged.

"Don't know. Maybe he caught a cold or something."

Jimin wanted to scoff at that. No way the devil himself was sick with something as measly as cold, but to think of him actually being sick....

So even he could catch cold. As expected, everyone was susceptible to viruses, no matter how twisted they were. After all he was still human.

"Anyways, I was going to come to you. Can you give this to Jungkook? It's the work he missed in class today. I have to go home quickly, it's urgent."

Jimin wanted to immediately reject it, but it was his best friend and he couldn't say no to him. So he took the envelope from Jin with a sour look on his face.

"Okay then, see you later Jimin." Jin ruffled his hair with a smile as he waved and exited the building.

Jimin groaned as he too slowly made his way out of the school building. The address on the envelope said that the area was closely so atleast he could get over it quickly and rush back home.

It was not like he wanted to ruin his mood by meeting Jungkook first thing right after summer break. No sane individual would ever want that.

He kept walking down the street, looking around and enjoying the breezy afternoon air. It was a good day and now seeing Jungkook was going to ruin all of it.
