I quickly lift my head and look at Jaymie. "Dude I need to get a pregnancy test."

"Shit, do you think you could be?" She asked.

I stand up and go over to the sink and rinse out my mouth. "I don't know I take my birth control constantly, so we should be good."

"Wait what about when you had that cold last month... Did you take any antibiotics?" She asked.

"Yeah... Why?"

She lets out a breath. "Certain antibiotics make your birth control less effective" She said.

Shit.

"Just relax, I'll go run out and get you a test, you just stay here and relax" She said rubbing my arm.

I went to my purse on my coat hook in my room and took out money from my wallet. "Here's some money, get me one of each brand. I wanna be sure."

"Ok" She took the money and left, leaving me to think about everything.

"Knock knock" My brother said.

He comes in holding a plate of grilled cheese, potato chips, and a bottle of water.

He places it on the nightstand and sits down on the bed next to me. "How you feeling?" He asked.

I let out a breath. "Honestly I don't know, scared, nervous, happy. I'm a mix of emotions."

He looks at me weird. "You're feeling all that just from throwing up?" He asked.

"Didn't Jaymie tell you?"

"She said you got sick and she was gonna go out to get you ginger ale" He said.

That was sweet of her not to tell him so I could on my own.

"There's a high chance that you could be an uncle."

His eyes widen. "Wait really?" He asked.

"Yeah, I've been really nauseous lately and I've been really tired now that I think about it."

"Well whatever the outcome is I'm here for you and I know for a fact that if you are Tyler will be ecstatic, he loves you so much" He said.

"I know he will, I love him too, but that's not what I'm worried about. I'm only 19, can I really do this?"

"Mom was 19 when she got pregnant with Emma and she did it by herself and finished college. You have the strength and determination that mom has so I know you can do it" He said bumping his shoulder into mine.

"Really?"

He scoffs. "This child is going to have the best people to have as parents, it's going to be the luckiest kid in the world and you have a crazy ass family to help you, we got your back Char" He said.

"Thanks Ace" I wrap my arm around his waist to give him a hug.

He wrapped his arm around me and kissed the top of my head. "No problem, that's what big brothers are for" He got up off the bed.
