Chloe got ready in her dorm room with Lily and Delani.
"DELANI"
"Ugh where is she we should have left five minutes ago!"
The two girls were waiting in the common room as well as their dates. Chloe was going with Oliver and Lily was going with Connor Diggory. Delani didn't have a date despite all the boys in slugclub desperately trying to go with her. Lily never did any of her school work and Delani...well.. Delani is out of it all the time. Sometimes she couldn't help but be worried for Delani's sanity.
"Alright I'm coming, I'm coming!"
"Oh my god Delani you look amazing!"
Lily said
"Thanks!"
After a few minutes of chatting they all walked over to Slughorns office to join the dinner. Of course everyone was already there as they arrived 10 minutes late.
"Ah Ms. Granger, Ms. Malfoy, Ms. Potter how lovely to see you all!"
"Thank you sir."
Chloe said.
"Well c'mon sit, sit!"
They all sat down at the table. Chloe sat in between Oliver and Delani. Delani was sitting by Lily, who was sitting by Diggory, who was sitting by Jack and Jack was sitting by...Tom.
She blocked out Slughorns random talk about his favorite students and old memories he had. Instead she took in her surrounding. Delani was getting many stares from boys around the table, whilst she practiced using wand-less magic to turn her food into candy. Amelia was staring at Tom the whole time, per usual. And Jack kept taking glances at Lily and Diggory the whole time. She stopped her staring and returned to looking straight in front of her where she was met with a familiar chocolate brown eyes.
"What about you Ms. Potter?"
"I'm sorry?"
"Have you and Mr. Malfoy gotten on with it yet?"
"Oh! No sir. We're just friends!"
"Hm what a shame...How about you and Mr. Riddle!? Or are you two 'just friends as well'?"
"Well we aren't friends."
"Ah I see...."
Oliver cleared his throat awkwardly and leaned over to whisper something Chloe's ear.
"Just friends?"
He asked with a smirk on his face
"Yes. Oliver. Just friends"
"What a shame. Last time I checked friends don't make out but the lake" He said still smirking
The dinner ended and they all returned to the common room.
"Time to have some real fun!"
