Nathan and Cassidy were private investigators, working with paranormal activity on the daily. It wasn't an easy job, nor hard when you were as brave as Nathan and Cassidy. They had fun with this job, with their night vision goggles and investigating old, abandoned houses with no electricity. They rarely found any sign of paranormal activity in any of their searches, but they still got a decent pay.

Nathan and Cassidy sit in the investigator's office just waiting eagerly for a text or call. Cassidy and Nathan wanted to do what they loved, along with getting a bit of a scare every once in a while. Nathan sits with his feet up on the desk playing games on his phone. Another good part of this job was not having to do anything when they weren't investigating. Next to him, Cassidy was plumping her curly brown hair and staring at herself in a mirror.
"Cassie, half of these places we investigate are abandoned. No one is going to see you." Nathan said annoyed.
Cassidy scoffs. "What if I want to look good for the ghosts?"
"PSSSHAHAHA!!! Nathan cracks up without any hesitation. "The ghosts, yeah, yeah okay Cass." Nathan wipes his eyes in amusement.
Cassidy just glares at him. "I was just joking anyways." Cassidy beamed acting like she wasn't just laughed at.
The moment was interrupted by an alarm text tone. Nathan picks up the phone that he sat down after laughing hysterically at Cassidy and looks at it. That was followed by a soft, refined text tone from Cassidy's phone. Nathan reads the text: Paranormal activity reported in old, brick house. 108 East Southwood Drive, Kansas City, Nebraska.
"Finally!" Cassidy says with excitement as she grabs a bag filled with their equipment.
Nathan pulls up the maps app on his phone and types in the address. He grabs his black, leather jacket and Cassidy grabs her white jacket.
"Let's go have some fun!" Nathan says as they walk to the car.

As Nathan and Cassidy drive down Lindenville Alley in their black Sedan, they seem shaken from their unfamiliar surroundings.
"Are you sure you're going the right way, Nate?" Cassidy asks quietly.
"Of course I am. I always know where I'm going Cass," Nathan answers reassuringly as he turns left onto Southwood Drive.
"It just seems so unfamiliar and unusual." Cassidy says.
"I know.." Nathan whispers in a way that he won't frighten Cassidy.
"It's fine Cass, just a new place. It'll be fun." Nathan pokes her side and she slaps his hand away with an immediate straight face.
"Quit it, seriously." She demands but cracks up in the process.
"I knew you weren't being serious with me Cass." He says looking her straight in the eye.
"Eyes on the road dumby." Cassidy jokes and pushes his head away to face the road.
"Relax, no ones here. I'm pretty sure this whole neighborhood is abandoned." Nathan calms her.
He's probably right, Cassidy thinks after seeing the looks of the neighborhood. Her eyes fall upon a tall, brick house with an old, wooden door on the right side of the road. The big 108 stands out on the dark wood door.
"Nate! 108." She gestures to the house on the right.
"Yeesh!" He yells and makes a quick sharp turn after stepping on the break.
