🌸The Protective Hange 🌸Part 2 (Edited)

My head slowly went up at the random knock at the door. It broke the silence like glass. "H-hello____, it's Hange. Are you there?"

That soft, gentle voice spoke. It sounded worried.

"Hange..." My soft voice spoke the name.

"Oh, perfect you are here. May I enter?"

"Sure.."

The door clicked open, Hange's chocolate brown eyes soften seeing me huddled up on my bed. "Levi was right..., you seem off as of late."

I flinched a bit. 'Levi..?'  I questioned.

"So you can sense it huh." Hange walked in and pulled a chair up next to me.

"She leaned forward a bit, giving me all her attention. So tell me, what's the matter? are you feeling ill?"

I averted my eyes a bit. "A lot has happened recently, so my mind is processing it. I saw Erwin not that long ago."

"Ooh...yes..I understand. You worry about his state, we all do." Erwin's arm was gone, all that blood on his missing sleeve was hard to look at.

"...mhm...yeah, and Eren having to get hunted down after fighting with Reiner." Images of Hange getting injured during that hit me. Making my head shoot up. 

"W-what, what's wrong??" Hange blinked. I looked at Hange, as my eyes watered a bit. "Hange, you were injured too. Are you alright?"

Hange's jaw dropped, as they nod. "Yes .. a bit sore but not as bad. Thank you for asking." I stand up and leaned over to Hange. Placing my head on her shoulders, as my eyes water more. I sniffle a bit.

"W-wah..____..." Hange's hands touch my back, letting me lean on her. "...ha..it's alright _____. It will be alright I promise." Hange lets me sit on the same chair as I quietly cry my frustration and worries out.

"Levi...is worried. He sent me here to find you.. he won't exactly say it so easy though."

"...yeah...I know he won't." My voice started coming back to normal, it wasn't cracking at much. Hange gently patted my back. "What if we go visit Erwin? Me, you, and Levi. I did recently;y bring him some news. I don't think he will mind you visiting."

"Okay..I'll try. Also um...Hange."

"Yes dear?"

"Come with me, while I try to ask Levi to join us."

"Very well, though I'm pretty sure Levi won't mind. He.. does seem fond of you, I have noticed."

"Even if...I don't want to burden him. Levi..has a lot to deal with..I feel sorry for him. His....legs probably still hurt."

"...yes..he has been off duty for a while now. Since the female titan incident."

Hange gently stood up and helped me to my feet. She gently fixed my clothing on me and brushed any dirt off. "You don't have to wear your gear, but since you have the harness on. That's fine." Hange adds.

"Come with me then, we can grab you some tea too. Later you could maybe help me with some research if you like. or just hang around in my office."

"Alright, sounds fun."

"That's my dear friend ____!" Hange gave me a gentle hug. We were really close. I wasn't sure how much Levi sensed that or knew, but the man was smart. He probably would catch on soon enough.

I haven't seen Eren for a little while now. He was resting probably. His and Mikasa's guardian or friend Hanes died recently too. More like got eaten. I wasn't there to see it, but I was on that crazy run to get Eren.

I remembered it all too well... ( Flash Back)

From where I was I could see Erwin's arm get bitten off. I was horrified, there was no Levi or Hange to help me. I was on my own. When the titans began to charge on Eren's command. I ran to Erwin's side as he kneeled to the ground bleeding heavily.

I screamed his name before in the distance as he was nearly eaten. He signaled to tell me to back away from him.

I dismount my horse and stand next to Erwin. "Erwin....!" I gasped, he was alive and breathing, but in terrible shape. His one-man soldier was already there to help him.

The blonde's head rose to look up at me. "____ , what are you doing here? you should be retreating."

" I can't just leave you here...! L-Levi will-" I cut myself off.

Erwin tried to smile to me. "Very well....I'll take your offer of help."

"You there, take care of ____'s horse," Erwin ordered.

"Yes sir!"

 I helped Eriwn stand, letting him lean on me a bit. The blood began to seep into my clothes as well. The man shivered from pain. We walked over to his white horse.

"Here...sir. I will drive the horseback. You can rest."

Erwin nods his head. He felt bad for having me deal with his bloody ass self. Still, he was always kind to _____. He wasn't necessarily a father figure, but still somewhat of a guardian, and friend.

We began to ride back. Along the way, I felt Erwin's head drop onto my shoulders. Hearing him apologize for him being so weak.

When we arrived back. Levi was absolutely shocked seeing me with a wounded Erwin. Hange was still resting and would see him later on.
