Coralie

It was the day after the Monkey's arrival. Cori hadn't had much sleep, they talked late into the night. She groaned when her alarm got off at 4:30 am, but she pushed herself to stand up.

She was currently sitting in her office, flicking through the financial plans they talked about yesterday at the meeting. The morning was a slow one until a receptionist knocked at her door. "Yes," she called him in. "Miss, there's a certain Matthew Helders on the phone, asking for you. And only you" He said and Cori chuckled. "Send him through." She answered and picked up the black phone handset, next to her red batphone. "Cori?" She heard his tense voice through the phone and sat up straighter. "What have you done, Helders?"

Cori rushed up to the fifth floor and knocked at Matt's door. Not a second later he opened the door and breathed out. "We've knocked and everything, called him, but he won't react" Matt explained.

"He'll probably be fine. I dropped him off tonight. He was just pissed up" Cori chuckled.
She remembered it well.

Cori had almost Alex's full body weight on her side, due to his arm on her shoulders. "Good God, Al" she chuckled, a little out of breath.

They finally reached Alex's room. "Where's your key, Al?" she asked while setting him against the wall. "Don't know. Mayb' me pocket" he slurred and patted his front pocket. A little clink was to be heard and he tried to pull the key out.

Cori chuckled and pulled his hand out of his pocket, taking it herself.

She finally had the key and she opened the door. Cori placed Alex's arm around her shoulder again and they entered the room. "There you go," she said while throwing Alex on his bed.

He crawled further into bed, turning around so that he lay on his stomach. Cori just shook her head and laughed at him. "Wait a sec, Tootus" he mumbled. Cori chuckled at him, saying "I'm not Tootus" Alex shook his head like a kid. "I wanna call ya Tootus" he insisted. Cori found it extremely cute , but a little cheesy. But nonetheless, let out a giggle. Tootus. Alex blushed at her reaction, his face turning pink.

Cori laughed at him. "Alright, Mr. Killer pink flamingo. What is it?" she asked, still chuckling a little. Alex signed for her to come closer and she did, placing her head next to his.

"I fantasize about you. You are this magical creature to me. Ya know, religion freaks me out, the whole iconography of Jesus. But I think you are me' religion" hewhispered into her ear, his voice only slightly slurred.

Cori was frozen. She didn't know what to say. She knew he was drunk, probably saying more than he wants, but they always say "drunken words are sober thoughts"

"Al, I..." she stumbled over her own words. "Just wanted to let you know" he said before drifting off, little snores coming from him.

Cori rushed down again, looking for the right key. Soon enough, both stood in front of 521. She unlocked the door and both carefully walked in. The room was filled with the stench of alcohol and they scrunched their noses, Cori coughed a bit. The smell was coming from the bedroom, so they went there.

Alex was knocked out on his bed, still in his suit from yesterday. He laid there exactly like yesterday.

"Alex" Matt carefully approached the bed. Alex didn't even twitch. "Alex!" Matt shouted and Alexander shot up from the bed. He looked around and let himself fall back on the bed. "Good to see you're not dead, mate. Today at 4, we have to write an album" And as quick as he was in the room, he was gone.

"Would you look at that? A hungover Alexander" Cori chuckled and his head snapped toward her, heat rushing to his cheek. Cori laughed and sat down next to him.
"Mr. Killer pink flamingo" she laughed at his red cheeks.
