•───────────•"Woah, Jay slow down!" you yelled, he didn't listen as he was scrambling to find the flour, his hair tied up in a messy bun.
"Ah cac, chaill mé é!" he exclaimed, he opened one of the cabinets and saw the flour right there, he sighed in relief.
you chuckled, "feel better now?" Jay shook his head.
"Not really, I almost lost it. if I did gloria would've kicked my ass if I didn't find it, and I mean literally kick my ass." Jay said.
"Okay well we've gotta hurry if we don't wanna be late. all that planning it took to finish the cake will literally be the death of us. and we don't even need to make a second cake..I hope." you said nervously, Jay laughed a little and Dina walked in.
"You two ready?" she asked, the both of you nodded and headed out the door.
——
you and Jay walked inside the very much expensive, and large house.
"Uh, remind me why we came here again?" you whispered to Jay, "For thanksgiving..but it looks like a large ass party." he replied.
You and Jay walked into the kitchen, "you guys made it!" Demi said happily.
"Couldn't miss it. also, don't tell Gloria there's an extra cake around here somewhere. she'll freak the hell out, I messed up on the third one." Jay explained.
"You made a third one?" you asked, Jay nodded sheepishly.
You chuckled to yourself and demi looked at you and Jay with a knowing smirk.
"I'll leave you two to it, meanwhile I'll be in the dining room with the others." Demi said and walked away.
Jay finally let his hair fall to his shoulders as he let out a tired sigh, "I spent about six hours on those cakes, I've been up non-stop. but at least I can catch a break now." he said and placed a kiss on your forehead.
You then let out a scream when you saw a voodoo doll at the window that looked exactly like you.
"What, what? what's wrong?" Jay asked as he turned to the window and saw nothing there.
You already knew what was doing this, "The..the voodoo doll was there- it looked like me!" you whispered.
"Well, it's gone now right? there's nothing to worry about anymore, okay leanbh?" Jay said and rubbed your shoulder softly.
That voodoo doll sure didn't look like you, it was kinda ugly.
"Jay, (Y/n), can I borrow you both for a second?" Ines asked, you both turned to her, "Uh, yeah, sure." you shrugged, Jay rolled his eyes at Ines and you both followed her.
