The time had come

The time had come,
God sent His Son,
To save all mankind.

Born of a woman,
Lived as a Man,
Jesus is the Word.

Loved by some,
And scorned by some,
He taught all the Way.

And when the time had come,
To the cross went the Son,
And died to save mankind.

Born of a woman,
Killed as a man,
Jesus is God's Son.

Loved now by some,
But scorned by some,
He gave Christians all salvation.
