*Ring!Ring!Ring!*

"Hello?" Yeji picks up her phone

"Hey, Cupid."

"Yeonjun?"

"Where are you? I want to meet up," Yeonjun said

"I'm in my office, level 5, science department."

"Alright."

He hangs up

For the past few days, Yeji has been busy with assignments and appointments that she had totally forgotten about the guy that wanted to pursue her.

There was a knock on the door. Yeji opens the door

She sees Yeonjun with a smile on his face "Hey Yeonjun."

"Cupid," Yeji led him to sit down

"So what are you here for? Love advise? Want me to hook you up with a certain lady? Or gent?" She asked, unaware

He chuckled "Have you forgotten?"

"What did I forget?"

"Well, I am not here for love advice or to hook up with someone but remember? I want to court you Song Yeji."

Now she remembers

Her eyes widened. She screams in her head

"I am so sorry Yeonjun, I got caught up with projects, assignments and my Cupid stuff," She says

"What are you sorry for? I want to pursue you and you are busy with stuff, It is understandable," Yeonjun said

She sighs in relief

"I am here to see if you are free right now?" Yeonjun looks at her table covered in papers

"Yeah, I am."

"Wanna go hang out at a café?" Yeonjun asked

She looks behind, her table is filled with papers.

She awkwardly laughs "Sure, which café do you have in mind?"

They were in the café enjoying their drinks.

Yeonjun puts his drink down after drinking "You had a lot of papers on your table earlier, what are you a prosecutor?"

She laughs "I have to update my client's information every month so I write it down on paper."

"But that's a lot of papers."

"Yeah and KQ is huge," Yeji said

"Do you have information about yourself?"

She shakes her head "No, why would I have information about myself? And anyways no one likes me and even if they do, why would they come to me?"

"Cause they like you? And want to get to know you?" He said as Yeji looked outside

Yeonjun pushes his straw up and down. Thinking of what to say.

"Yeji, has it crossed your mind that someone on campus might like you? Instead of focusing on others' relationships, you need to focus on yours?"

"I like you Yeji," He takes her hand, holding onto it

She turns to look at him "Right now Yeonjun, you make my heart flutter and make me blush... but after that, it's all gone and I forget about it."

"I don't think I feel the same way as you do Yeonjun."

"We never talked a few days before this and I never once had thoughts of you, unlike you, you had." She said

"Sorry Yeonjun," His grip on her hand loosens

She stands up to go to the counter to pay when he stops her.

"Yeji," He grabs her wrist

"You can't just do this to me," He said

"I know but how will you get over me if I don't leave? Paying for Table 18," Yeji told him then talks to the lady at the counter

The lady passes her the card back "Thank you," Yeji bows then takes her leave

"Wait Yeji!" The lady stops him "Excuse me," Yeonjun looks at her

"I think you need this," She passes him a Valentine's day drink "It's on the house, looks like you need it."

The Next Day

The Cupid's office

"Yeji isn't here today?" Yunho looks through the door

"Hey Yunho," Yubin appears

"Is Yeji around?" She asked

"No, she is not here maybe she has classes right now?" He questioned

"Maybe, but she told me to meet up today," Yubin said

Yunho tries to open the door, seeing how in the past Yeji just opened the door without a key.

He turns the doorknob and hears a click

They both went in and saw Yeji lying down on the couch with 2 bottles of alcohol on the floor.

"Oh my god Yeji," Yubin pushed Yunho and ran to the girl

"Yeji? Yeji!" Yubin shook her

She slowly opened her eyes "Yeji, you alright?"

"No, I am not," She covers her eyes

"What could've happened for you to be like this?" Yunho asked

"Hey Siri, what is Lee Yeonjun's information," Yeji said

"Lee Yeonjun is a third-year dance student and has a lot of admirers who have requested your assistance, Lee Yeonjun likes Song Yeji third year astrophysics major, you," Siri said out loud

"Yeonjun confessed, for the second time?" Yeji said, head hurting

"You can explain later but do you have a change of clothes? It's Monday, don't you have classes?"

Yeji nods "And you need some hangover soup, I'm sure the soup the vendors give out at the pantry will be enough to ease that out." Yubin said

After getting a change of clothes and food. Yeji explains to them

"He confessed to me, I was actually happy, elated at that but I just can't accept it, we haven't talked during and after my exams, he was never on my mind."

"It's something else," She looks at Yunho and then at Yubin

Yubin turns to look at Yunho and then to Yeji, She realises and gasps "You being Cupid is affecting your love life."

Yeji looks at her, confused

"You desire happiness for your clients yet never desire your own," Yubin held her shoulders

"Yeji, you are in college the time when you party, meet new people-"

"I'm already meeting new people, by being Cupid," Yeji said

"College parties are not just seeing other people from the same college but rather meeting both from the same and different colleges, you can meet a ton of new people," Yubin said

"You might not have feelings for Yeonjun, understandable, but you have plenty of people to meet."

"Why don't you stand down on your role as Cupid and be Song Yeji."
