           Maya knocks on Captain Herrera's door and walks in when she hears come in. She gives a nervous smile " Umm Sir I have to talk to you about something."  Pruitt nods and gestures to the chair " Sit down Maya. Is everything ok?" Maya nods nervously  " I hope this doesn't change anything. I can work through it . I don't need to be treated any differently." Pruitt chuckles " Andrea already told me. Congratulations Maya. A firehouse baby is very special.  But I have been thinking." Maya interprets  " Sir I promise I can still do everything. I can do everything the same." Pruitt shakes his head " You are pregnant but I how know how boring desk duty is. Is the aid car ok?" Maya nods with a huge smile " Yes! That is perfect. Thank you sir. " Pruitt chuckles " Of course. And Maya whatever you need; We are here." Maya nods " Thank you." She quickly leaves the office and smiles at Andy who is a the desk" He said aid car while I'm pregnant. You are going to come with me to the first appointment right?" Andy nods and smiles " Of course I will." Maya smiles " Thank you. I'm a little nervous." Andy shakes her head " You still have to make the appointment right?" Maya gasps " Shit. I do. I will make it right now."  She pulls out her phone to make the appointment as Andy looks at Maya as she hangs up " So?" Maya smiles " Appointment at Grey Sloan this Wednesday." Andy laughs and nods " Your Wednesday are already starting to become different." Maya shakes her head and laughs " Shut it, Herrera." she sighs as she leans back in the chair " I'm pregnant.... Maybe I'm not really? And the test mess up and on Wednesday I will hear it was the flu?" Andy gives Maya a look " Umm I don't think the test can be wrong?"  Maya groans " Hopefully."

               

       January 2nd Wednesday 12:30 pm 
          Grey Sloan Hospital

    Maya lays down on the chair and sighs annoyed as Andy plays with the fake baby  " The doctor is already late. I feel like a bomb.... I'm really hoping I'm not...." Andy sets down the baby " Maya you took the test it said positive. You are pregnant there something growing inside of you. You are going to be a mom..." Maya sighs and nibbles her lip as Carina walks in " I apologize. Dr. Wilson is running late so I'm going to cover for her. I'm Dr. Carina DeLuca. Maya and Carina stare at each as Andy speaks up " I'm Andy Herrera and this is Maya Bishop." Carina blushes " Yes Si. Sorry let cheek on the little bambino or Bambini. You about almost 2 month correct?" Maya nods " I believe so.... I had sex around November 10 and we just found out a 2 weeks  ago or so" Carina smiles " Well let double check it sounds like you entering your second month already. Which is perfect " Maya nods and lifts up her shirt as Carina applies gel and your heartbeat fills the room. Maya stares at the screen and a couple tears fall " I'm really pregnant." Andy chuckles " I have never seen you cry before." Carina smiles " That would be the hormones." Maya nods and chuckles " yeah so shut up." Andy smiles and looks at the picture as Carina moves the sonogram tool  around  " So if you look closely you can see a little nose and mouth. Would you like a picture?" Maya nods and smiles " Yes. Please." Carina prints out of a couple of pictures and hands them to Maya " Congratulations. Now remember be careful you are carrying another person with you." Maya nods and smiles " Thank you Dr.DeLuca." She stares at the picture " My little blob is adorable."
