       Andy looks at Maya  while she feeding you a bottle " Poor  guy doesn't know what coming." Maya glares at Andy " Hey I brought you for support. Not to make me feel bad."  Andy smiles " Sorry. I'm just saying he like having a million shots today." You grunt as the girls look at you Maya walks up to and kisses your head " I'm sorry. It only a one  shot." Maya yawns as Andy gives her the bottle and burps you " Did you sleep at all?" Maya nods " Yeah. I'm just tired. He actually really good at sleeping. It more the worry of waking up and him not breathing." You burp and snuggle into Andy as Maya smiles " Hey Mister. No falling asleep the doctor needs you wake." Just at the moment the doctor walks in " Hello. I'm Dr. Lewis this is Maverick Bishop?" Maya nods " Yes. He is being hold by his aunt." The doctor nods and smiles " So today we just taking weight and height. Also check his breathing and his one shot. Can you get him out of clothes?" Maya nods as Andy lays you down and Maya strips you. You coo and shiver as the doctor " Hello Mr.Bishop, let get this checkup over with so you can be all warm." She gently picks you up and sets you on scale " Hmm..."Maya looks concerned " Hmm what?" The doctor shakes her head " From his birth weight to now it seems he has only gain 4 pounds. His paper says when he was born he was 4 pounds? And he only 8 pounds. He just under by a pound." Andy looks at Maya " Well maybe he just needs to eat more." The doctor looks them " How many ounces are we feeding him?" Maya looks at the doctor " Umm 3 ounces about 8 times. I do breastfeed sometimes. He prefers that rather than bottle. But he eats." The doctor nods " Let up him an ounce and maybe we gain some weight." Maya nods and then the doctor measures you and smiles " Oh he is 22 inches. He going to be tall if we continue at this pace." Maya smiles " Well that is good." You whine as the doctor sits you up and hears your breathing " Very strong. I have no worries with his lungs right now. Now we will do his one shot and you be good to go." One of the nurses come in and quickly does the shot and let's Maya comfort you as she holds you " It is ok buddy. Mama is here you are ok." You snuggle into her as Andy changes you back in your firetruck onesie with red shorts " Dream Team Bishop. Also his lungs were good. That should relive some stress." Maya kisses your head " Alittle bit... but let hurry you have work and I promised you that you wouldn't be late."Andy nods and grabs your backpack as Maya comforts you. They get you in the car and Maya plops your binky in your mouth as you stare at her " I'm sorry buddy. It's all over let's auntie to work then we go home." She gets in and starts driving as Andy smiles " You are coming in right? Everyone will love to see you." Maya smiles "of course I will. Besides Luke wants to see his papa." You spit out your binky and start crying as Andy looks tries to look for your binky as Maya looks back  " It should be connected to his onesie." Andy shakes her head " It not." You cry louder as Maya looks back and tries to help Andy as Andy screams " Maya trash cans!" Maya swerves as police lights pop behind the car. She groans " I swear if it is Ethan I'm losing to it." Andy sits back and looks " Oh no worries it Ryan." You cry louder as Maya sighs " Buddy give me a second. I get your binky." Ryan walks up to the car " Oh it you two. Why did you swerve with precious cargo?" Maya sighs " Ryan before you give me a ticket can you find your nephew binky?" She rolls down the window as Ryan smiles at you " Hi Mav." He looks  around and founds the binky as Andy  looks over " Ryan if you don't give us a ticket I do whatever you want." She winks as Maya starts laughing " Andy that bribing a police officer. You can go to jail." Ryan turns red alittle but shakes his head " I'm ignoring that Andy but Maya I let you off with a warning. It clear Mister Maverick is at fault here. But he is too cute for a ticket." He fixes your blanket and plops your binky in your mouth and fix your shade " There we go buddy. We don't like the sun do we?" You stare at him as Ryan smiles " Alright. Maverick watch these two they are alittle crazy." You smile as Andy laughs " Hey. With that comment I'm taking back what I said earlier. I won't do whatever you want." Maya smiles " Thanks Ryan. I appreciate it. I be more careful. He just alittle cranky. Past his nap time had his first checkup." Ryan walks up to Maya window " How did that go? Lungs ok?" Maya nods " She said they sound strong. But he is under weight but above length. So skinny and tall."  Ryan looks concern " Underweight? That can be fixed." Maya nods " Yea. I'm just going to feed him." Ryan nods " Well get home safe. You are free to go." Maya smiles " Thank you Ryan.  I appreciate it. Maybe you and Andy can come over soon for dinner?"  Ryan nods  " of course I will love that. Be safe."  He walks back as Maya sighs " Well you only a few minutes late." Andy nods " Ah we just sneak in. It be fine."

      Station 19

    Andy and Maya  walk through the door as Pruitt walks out of his office " Andrea you are 30 minutes late." Andrea sighs " I'm sorry. But blame your grandchild he got us pull over." Pruitt looks shocked " Is everyone ok?" Maya nods and sits your car seat down and gently gets you out  " Yeah. It was Ryan that pulled us over. He let us off with a warning. Here your grandbaby." Pruitt smile " Hi Maverick. Let's go give everyone their chores. I had to delay the meeting cause of your tia." Maya laughs and sits as Vic and Travis run in " The baby is here!" You whine and snuggle into Pruitt as he rocks you " Go line up. Andrea is here and I'm handing out chores." Vic pouts " But the baby." They groan and head out to the lineup as Maya  follows " I miss this." Vic smiles " Well you can take my chores I don't mind." Pruitt rocks you and grabs your blanket as he smiles " Baby is asleep.  Ok." The alarm goes off as Pruitt quickly hands you off and Maya watches everyone leave " I miss this. Here I am stuck." She looks at you asleep and feels bad " I'm not stuck. I promise. I'm happy you are here." She kisses your head " you save me buddy." She sets you into your car seat and drives home.

   2:00 pm Maya apartment

Maya gags " Luke why did you have a blowout. This is so gross" you cry louder as Maya washes you off in the bathtub. She cleans you off " You are fine. I promise you are fine. Does your stomach hurt buddy?" She washes off all the poop and whispers " We just be in our diaper deal. Let's have some skin and skin." You whine as someone knocks at the door and Maya looks confused " worst timing." She grabs your towel and wrap you up and goes to answer the door " Hi. Im sorry Diana. I completely forgot about today. Umm come in. Let's me change him and I will be right out....sorry it is such a mess." Maya runs to  change you and comes back to Diane " Ok I'm ready." She sits down with you  and  cuddles you as you yawn " Sorry he had his one month checkup. So he little cranky." Diane smiles " Uh I remember those appointments with my boys they aren't fun. He is adorable. So have you been doing your practices? Training your mind." Maya nods " Yes I'm still struggling not going running when I'm stress. And earlier today I felt like  a bad mother. I said I felt stuck everyone left and I miss going out there. But then I look at him and I felt bad because I know I'm not stuck. Being his mom is the best thing." Diane smiles " It just the fear of being out your normal routine and besides you are an amazing mother. He is falling asleep." Maya looks down and smiles " He just wanted his cuddles. He really is the best thing that has happen. I know I won a gold medal but being his mom is the best gift ever. And I'm surrounded by so many people that love him." Diana nods " Have you work on telling your parents ? Are you going to tell them he came early?" Maya sighs " I don't know. I don't want my dad to be pressuring him all the time. And besides I don't nobody around him that going to tell him he wasn't wanted." She stares at you kisses your face as you stir but continue sleeping. Diane smiles " But that is good you wanna surround yourself and the baby with positive loving people. I know  your fear was you turning into your dad but would your dad have held you when you were sick? Or being worried that you aren't doing enough?" Maya shakes her head  " No.  Whenever I was sick he would tell us to toughen up. Pain makes you stronger. I hope I
Am doing ok with him. But I won't know till he older." Diane smiles as her watch dings " Well  I believe you are. You doing amazing with him. He seems very happy." Maya laughs " He very happy when he has a full belly and cuddling his mama. I will call my parents and see if they wanna see him." Diane nods " I gotta go. I will text you for the next appointment." Maya nods " Thank you."

    Once Diane leaves Maya adjusts you and grabs her to call her dad. The phone rings and rings as Lane picks up " Maya I'm busy. I will call you later."  Maya sighs  " Wait Dad I have news to share with you and mom."  Lane groans " Well I'm busy!  I will you later!" He hangs up as  Maya looks down at you " Well buddy that was a bust. But you don't need them. Besides Papa loves you. I would take you to see them....but mama tired. Let's go cuddle and lay in bed." She takes you to the room and lays you down and cuddles with you " I love you baby boy."
