After waking up and taking a shower, they both left to have dinner at the table.
"Assalamoalikum Uncle, Aunty," Feef greeted seeing Aniqa and Mansoor Khan at the table and went to hug and kiss them on the cheek.
"Walaikumussalam beta! Kaisey hou ap? Exams kaise guzrey?" Aniqa Khan asked. She was informed by the butler that Afifa and Dan had come home while she was attending her meeting.
"Mai theek hun aunty. Shukar hai guzar gaye exams. Jaan chooti yahi bohat hai, kaise guzrey ka mat poochen." She said causing Aniqa to chuckle.
"Chalo IA behtareen result ayega ap tou parhney walon mai se hain," she replied.
"Zara apney sahabzadey se bhi poochye kya gul khila ker ayen hain exams mai?" Mansoor Khan said.
"Baba apka naam roshan karkey aya hun mai," Dan winked at his dad.
"Allah hi reham karey ab tou," Mansoor Khan teased him.
"Afifa beta bismillah karen! Ap bhi shuru karen khana Daniyal." His father said and so they both dug into the biryani and kheer.
They chitchatted with Dan's parents before they went back to Dan's room to sort the mess and try to arrange as many clothes as possible.
While Feef was folding Dan's clothes and trying to fit them in the suitcase. Dan went to make coffee for both of them.
"Come on leave it," he said handing her the mocha and taking her to the garden. They both sat on the bench and just admired the pitch black night dotted with stars while sipping onto their coffee.
"I don't know why the moon is so romanticized," Feef said looking at the moon.
"'It's because in the pitch black darkness of the night, it's the only one that is constantly shining unlike the stars, illuminating the sky, guiding and following you everywhere you go. It's the only companion that never fails to disappoint you for it shows up everytime the sun goes down. Despite, being devoid of light itself, it'll never cease to shine light in your life even if it means borrowing the light from the sun. So darling, when the sun goes down and the light is sucked out of your life, it's the only one giving you hope of a better tomorrow." He said staring up at the moon.
"Damn Romeo, didn't expect that," Feef said looking at his face causing him to blush.
"No wonder your literature teacher loved you!" She said looking him in the eyes.
"Well kon hai woh larki jo mujhe pasand nahi karti. Who is she?" he said boastfully which got her to chuckle.
"Proud asino!" She said hitting him on the chest as he wrapped his arms around her.
"If only you took literature, it would have been so much fun," he said.
"Sporting a B or C on my CIE is no fun. I ain't literary and you know that. I'm glad it was an optional subject."
"Sad I'm stuck with someone who doesn't have a single romantic bone." Dan feigned sadness.
"How is me being uninterested in literature akin to me being unromantic?"
"So you are romantic?" He asked quirking his right eyebrow up.
"Yes, I am."
"Tell me one thing that is romantic that you have done for me?" he asked causing Feef to think hard.
"I kissed you countless times esp. on the forehead. We went to watch your favourite movie together in theatre. I snuggled up to you and you read me the novel as I sat in between your legs with my head on your chest. I gave you a blowjob on Valentine's day. Ehh does that even count as romance?" She said scratching her head thinking out loud whatever romantic shit she has done in all these years. Hearing her thoughts got him to smile.
