I was thrown on to the cold concrete seeing nothing but complete darkness. There was a storm brewing outside and the wind was rapid. I groaned and picked myself up from the floor. I looked down and saw what looked as though to be blood all over my hands. I moved my hands slowly towards my stomach, wincing at the sharp pain i was feeling. Tears were streaming down my face as I looked up to see who I was facing.

"This is what happens when you leave your poor father to rot in that horrible cell, Sage. I expected better from you. After all, you are your fathers daughter." My father. That's who hurt me. He had a smirk plastered across his face, turning it into a wide smile from ear to ear.

"Im sorry," I sobbed. "Please don't hurt me."

"Now now, us Rivers don't beg anyone do we? Tsk tsk."

"Im nothing like you. You're a cruel and vicious man who is looking to sell their daughter for a bit of recognition from the dark lord. How embarrassing you even call yourself my father."

His smile turned into a rage of anger, "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT YOU FOOLISH CHILD!" he screamed. He moved closer and closer to me.

"No! Don't come any closer. Move! I said go away!"

"Rivers??? Wake up!"

I woke up from the horrible nightmare to Pansy shaking me. A worried expression and furrowed eyebrows as she kept asking me if i was okay. I was unable to form full sentences.

"Fucking hell, Rivers. Go sleep elsewhere if your nightmares are going to continue like this." Daphne Greengrass sneered. She never liked me I cant really pin point the reason either. I think it's because i'm close to Bea after the rumours have spread that Daphne fancied Bea.

I groaned and sat up, rubbing my face. It was going to be a long night.

Defence Against the Dark Arts was my last lesson of the day thank Merlin. The day dragged as I tried to remember pieces of my nightmare so I could tell Bea everything that had happened. At lunch, Dumbledore introduced a new teacher. Remus Lupin. I wondered when they were going to let Snape teach this class as who better than the head of Slytherin to teach dark arts?

"Can anyone tell me what I have in front of me?" He observed us all, waiting for an answer.

Hermione Granger put her hand up eagerly. She was desperate to be picked. I love Hermione but her smartness really does get on my nerves sometimes.

"Yes, miss Granger? I presume."

"Absolutely right sir. It's a boggart. It reveals your biggest fear and I believe theirs a spell to make it go away. Although I cant quite put my finger on it." She furrowed her brows trying to figure out what the spell was.

"Thank you miss Granger. You are right. The spell you are looking for is Ridikkulus."

"This class is ridiculous," I heard Draco mutter. I snorted and winked at him as he realised I heard his little comment.

This brought attention to us.

"Ah, mr Malfoy and...I'm sorry, what is your name young lady?"

"Rivers. Sage Rivers." I replied back with. I looked at his face drop as he realised who I was and who my father was.

"Very well. Draco, since you have a lot to say about the spell, it seems to me you have already perfected it. Why don't you go first. Everyone make a line behind Mr Malfoy as he demonstrates for us." He smiled, making me giggle. Draco wasn't moving so I pushed him in front of me practically throwing him in front of the boggart.
